The other thread is filling up fast so setting up the foundation for our new evil lair. One where we follow real guidelines, not made up ones, make sock cocks ,ruin hair and bemoan the shortage of Spanish soldiers.

This is where we'll keep each other sane or descend into madness together... depends on the day.

Mitzik
That description of washing a cat is hilarious. I remember having to wash the odd cat and the sheer strength of them splayed out on the sides of the sink to avoid being wet was mindboggling!
When i had 2 kittens at once tje house i had bought had that blown vinyl everywhere and the little buggers would climb up the walls! It was very disconcerting to walk into the room and see kittens halfway up the walls like decorations!

Just made another cuppa and will need to go for milk at some point today I should have got more the other day. Oh well another walk at the same time. Will send ds1 for a shower before i paint so he has No excuse not to come this time😀😀

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 09/04/2020 11:38

Did you know that cats can literally climb tiles by digging their claws into the grouting if they are suitably motivated to do so?

Yes I found that out the hard way.

Well I'm getting wider and wider and wider...in all directions except up! That's where I need an increase really. I'm not fat, just too short for my weight. Grow legs, grow!

I kicked the cats out once to get them used to being outside. Instead, they ran towards the house and climbed the wall like Spiderman to slink in through an open window. For a fat git, she can really move when she wants to.

You're not hungry

Shitsgettingcrazy · 09/04/2020 11:44

@PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock

how are you getting on? Everything good?
Yeah, am good thanks.

Turns out I have sufficiently scared half the the directors that are still working. Most of them have already sent reports that are due in this afternoon...this morning.

So all in front.

Not sleep great though. In other news, daily (ish) exercise and being stressed is helping 20lbs down since I started working from home. Not self improvement. Just feel slightly stressed all the time and struggling to eat. Although I had a chest infection a few weeks ago and havent been able to taste food properly since. That helps aswell. No point eating the chocolate when I cant taste it.

I knew working was bad for my health! Grin

A long way to go though, before I get to my pre divorce weight.

New wardrobe before I go back to the office for me!

How are you getting on?

Gigabitten · 09/04/2020 11:45

um...how do you add pics?????

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 09/04/2020 11:46

No idea on desktop but on the app when you do a new post there's a paperclip icon. Press that and then the plus to add a pic.

Currently in a v.long queue for the supermarket. Oversized sunnies and a mask are a strong look for Thursday lunchtime at my local Waitrose. (Yep I brought masks for Asia holiday at start of the year back when this was still a "regional" issue). DH said I looked like a bank robber as I left the house. Hope security guards don't recognize me from shopping earlier in the week hangs head in shame

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 09/04/2020 11:58

We're on the swing, baking in the sun and stalking a very confused wasp that keeps dashing in and out of our garden. It's gone! It's back! Accompanied by squeaks from DD.

Riveting stuff...

It's ok. I hate me too.

I did not ever think I would become one of those 'no....I dont enjoy food' people. I am pissing myself off. Grin

Would a photo reduce the length of the hate you have for me?

Right under the sun too!! And in few view of the poor quarantined tree. And near a way too short fence to protect the next door neighbours if they dare come outside.

We're despicable really.

Wow thats a result Shits. Good job someone can make them get thier finger out.

Pringletastic · 09/04/2020 12:40

...slinking in...

People are weird out there, it’s not a nice place. What with the pitchforks and torches and screams of ‘Burn the witch!’ Not a pleasant cul-de-sac at all.

Am dreading the clap. I don’t want it.

Hoping I can lurk here awhile, and if there’s room in the corpse for a wee one, I’ve brought a cheeky little Chardonnay glass of tap water with me for lunchtime hydration.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 09/04/2020 12:43

The corpse has been disposed of sadly, too much temptation for a mass gathering.

OP posts:
swishthecat · 09/04/2020 12:43

Tap water, Pringle! No, no, no! You should only be drinking brackish muddy water from your rainwater butt. And that is as a treat. For every day drinking, you should be licking the moisture off moss and leaves.

Pringletastic · 09/04/2020 12:47

Damn it! I knew I shouldn't have bleached all the moss before properly harvesting it of moisture. Now PEOPLE WILL DIE.

Thank you so much for this thread (and the first one!). I felt as though I must be the one in the wrong as I was thinking WTF at some of the people in real life and on FB and MN but you lovely posters have made me feel so much better! Grin
