Does anyone know how his health is and how he’s doing?

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 05/04/2020 21:25

Deliberately or not.

Icanflyhigh · 05/04/2020 21:26

Guessing hes not too clever seeing as hes been admitted to hospital :-(

Pugdoglife · 05/04/2020 21:26

I do hope he's ok, for our country, his children and his fiancée and unborn child.

Starlightstarbright1 · 05/04/2020 21:26

I thought it had been underplayed.. I hope the precautionary is not underplaying too.

CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 05/04/2020 21:27

I read somewhere that men seem to be more severely affected and take longer to recover than women in average. My ex gave me the virus but even though he's days ahead of me in terms of symptoms he is still very rough and on AB's with no underlying conditions, whereas I have chronic asthma and am now doing better.

I don't think much of the man but I also hope he pulls through, be terrible for national morale if he doesn't.

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 05/04/2020 21:28

He looked awful. He is overweight and looks like he has high blood pressure.

I wish him well. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone

I really really hope the preventable risk factors are taken more seriously by people after this. Many - not all - are lifestyle related and medication related

Justanotherlurker · 05/04/2020 21:29

He is a gambler who has taken a punt with the health of the citizens of this country. It's personally backfired.

No he hasn't, some people have little understanding of this world wide pandemic and how in the back scenes are scientists and experts scrambling for solutions.

You are so bitter in your partisan echo chamber that you highlight how really uneducated the electorate really is.

GandalfTheGoat · 05/04/2020 21:30

He's just been admitted to hospital as a 'precautionary measure'.

covetingthepreciousthings · 05/04/2020 21:31

Anyone know how Prof Whitty is?*

I'm wondering this too..

RU562341 · 05/04/2020 21:31

Did anyone from the government actually suggest herd immunity? All I remember is a press conference where one of the medical advisors was speaking in general terms about herd immunity. I don't remember it ever being touted as a serious solution.

OhTheRoses · 05/04/2020 21:32

Well he looked rough on the box last week nd it was surprising when he hadn't recovered by Friday.

I very much hope he will be better soon.

cafenoirbiscuit · 05/04/2020 21:32

He’s been admitted to hospital

BeardyButton · 05/04/2020 21:32

Hes been admitted to hospital.

Missmonkeypenny · 05/04/2020 21:32

Paramedic DH says day 10 is the point it starts to get really bad if it's going to

anonymousLangFan · 05/04/2020 21:32

No he hasn't, some people have little understanding of this world wide pandemic and how in the back scenes are scientists and experts scrambling for solutions.

There is a reason why most other countries made other choices though

CaptainMyCaptain · 05/04/2020 21:32

We were wondering about Chris Whitty too.

VivaLeBeaver · 05/04/2020 21:32

Yeah, just seen the breaking news. I know they say precautionary but let’s face it....nobody goes to hospital at the minute unless it’s serious. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

SouthWestmom · 05/04/2020 21:33

Why do people keep posting he's been admitted? It's so weird not to read back and check if it's already been discussed.

coconuttelegraph · 05/04/2020 21:33

He is overweight and looks like he has high blood pressure

I've seen this posted more than once, what are the outward signs of high blood pressure?

evilharpy · 05/04/2020 21:34

A nurse friend who has had CV says there’s often a relapse around day 10 after you think you’re on the mend, and this was true in her case.

I don’t think he would actually be admitted to hospital unless it was fairly serious.

EmMac7 · 05/04/2020 21:35

They’ll be doing CT scans of his lungs, no doubt.

AnyFucker · 05/04/2020 21:36

There are no "precautionary" admissions to hospital for Covid-19

If he is an inpatient he is seriously ill

LuluJakey1 · 05/04/2020 21:37

I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Hope he feels better soon. Seems like they are downplaying it by describing it as 'precautionary' when they are admitting him at 9pm on a Sunday night. I imagine he is struggling with breathing.

BBCONEANDTWO · 05/04/2020 21:37

OMG it must be serious - this is awful - I hope he makes a full recovery and doesn't have to be ventilated:
