Well I'd assume it will be precautionary (I hope) as in he is getting worse rather than an emergency. Wouldn't wish ill health on anyone.

I knew it! He looked awfully ill in the video he posted. I don't like him or his politics but I hope he recovers soon.

I don't think you're been reading some of the threads on here. Boris Johnson, yes, he gets compassion despite stupidity leading to the deaths of others. Your average person in the supermarket or neighbour - not so much!

Absolutely no surprise, he looked dreadful last time and didn’t seem to be improving.

Sweden also differs from the UK in that around 50% of the population there live in single person households. They're not doing nothing either. People are being told to socially distance, large gatherings have been banned. If and when people in more affluent parts start seeing widespread infection I wouldn't be surprised if they then implemented lockdown. I don't know the situation with their healthcare system but generally Scandinavian countries have better funded healthcare than the NHS. We can't compare with other different countries.

This news isn’t a surprise. When Matt Hancock was interviewed on Sky this morning he was asked some very direct & pointed questions about Boris’s health, so there have obviously been rumours about this circulating at Westminster.

I don’t vote Tory, but I wish him well.

People have short memories. He was quite willing to let us all get it to develop a herd immunity.
