It is that rubbish he denied the general public tests whilst ensuring he would have access. I totally get why he needed one. I don’t wish him ill. I think this really highlights how piss poor his decisions have been.

I thought he’d go down as one of the worst pms in history. Ironically though with the whole country rallying, I think he will get away with this one...

good anyone that truly believes that he would lie about this, really, what purpose would it serve exactly?? Boris like any other leader would want to be a strong and useful leader at a time of crisis, he has the opportunity to really make his mark, how on earth will he do that feeling ill with coronavirus.

Ffs. Persistent cough doesn't mean you have to be hacking your guts up all the time, its just a cough that doesn't go away (so isn't caused by anything in the immediate environment-like water going down the wrong way, or coughing because you have inhaled some dust)

Because a persistent cough doesn't mean the same as a continuous cough. And the cough will often be less when sat down, than when walking or stood up.

When I had the horrendous cough associated with pneumonia I had periods of time during the days when I could hold a conversation. I then had other periods of time when I couldn't speak more than a word without the hacking cough.

Even if he followed procedures it doesn't mean everyone who is is around him did same.

I'm not laughing in the slightest at Boris or anyone else getting this horrible virus (I'm currently in isolation because I have symptoms too) but this paragraph made me laugh.

Having said that, I think laughing and gloating about anyone catching this or any illness is fucking twisted.

inevitable, sadly - he has been in rooms with huge numbers of people, we didn't start social distancing in time. I suspect many others in parliament will have it too. As does my local MP, someone whose policies I also don't like but not to the point of wishing him ill or dead.

hopefully all those having gatherings , letting their kids out to play etc will realise that this disease can and often does kill.

But what difference will it make? Last week MN was full of apologists claiming the Prime Minister was just a spokesperson for experts and carrying out actions directed by COBRA.
