Is anyone ordering non essentials online?

Just that really. I haven't ordered anything online, I'm thinking clothes (not work items), make up etc. I just feel guilty that someone has to pick and pack my order and then it has to be delivered. These people have to get to work. But then I think, what about these businesses? Do they want us to keep on ordering so that they can try so stay afloat? Plus, does anyone need new clothes to stay in the house?!

What are you doing?

Not sure how I feel about Next closing online operations. Obviously their staff should come first and by all accounts, they weren’t treated well (in relation to lack of social distancing at work or told to use annual leave to self isolate etc). Seems like Next disregarded their health.

But I would hate it if all non-essential retailers suspended online operations. It’s just another level to a suspension of normality. I don’t shop at Next, was intending to order from other retailers like Amazon, feel unique & Boots as I can’t buy certain items in store anymore.

I guess I’ll have to assume that other retailers will follow suit and order now whilst I still can.

Pretty sure in next day or so other clothing retailers will follow Next and there will be rulings on what 'essentials' can be ordered.

I have some clothes from a couple of high street shops bought a couple of weeks ago that I was meaning to return, but obviously it will be past the 28 days when I can return them, do you think they’ll extend the return time?
