We aren't going to lockdown tonight.

Stop scaremongering.

Maybe at the end of the week or next week. I reckon 10 days. But not tonight.

Even still, you can still go to the supermarket, pharmacy and walk the dog.

Stop scaremongering!!!! You're sending people's anxiety through the roof!

OP posts:
Northernsoullover · 23/03/2020 20:45

Oh we did! About time too.

HatRack · 23/03/2020 20:46

How does this work for blended families?

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 23/03/2020 20:46

Does that mean right now? Are we allowed to leave for home if we're at someones house?

What the hell are you doing at someone’s house?!!! That’s the sort of idiotic behaviour the PM has been telling us to stop!

Nillynally · 23/03/2020 20:46

😂😂

XingMing · 23/03/2020 20:46

2000 deaths in Spain... so far. Treat it as a lockdown, please @luc. It was very clearly an instruction to stay at home.

NowSissyThatWalk · 23/03/2020 20:46

Well this aged well.

Anything to say OP?

annonxx · 23/03/2020 20:46

Lol

Therabble · 23/03/2020 20:46

It's a lockdown OP. It's the same rules as most other European countries who are on lockdown.

It's

A

Lock

Down

NewYearNewTwatName · 23/03/2020 20:47

Haven't read the fucking thread.

but yeah we are in lock down.......

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 23/03/2020 20:47
Grin
StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2020 20:47

Sturgeon has used the word

Deadsouls · 23/03/2020 20:47

But.....

If the gov are saying that people can still go to work if essential, what's to stop people claiming their work is essential and still going in to work. Isn't that what's been happening anyway?

Alialialiali · 23/03/2020 20:48

To be fair to OP, lockdown would have been stay at home do not leave unless you get permission from police.

I mean, how do Police know how many forms of exercise I've taken today? tbh he's done the sensible thing which is police will now disperse gatherings and potentially issue fines and at the same time given some people a bit of drama by going on tv like that...but can you call that a LOCKDOWN? It's certainly not the army rolling in like some people were predicting.

majesticallyawkward · 23/03/2020 20:48

It's not really a lockdown? It wasn't very clear?

Don't go out unless you need to. Shop for essentials only as infrequently as possible, exercise once a day alone or with people you live with. Carry out essential care. No meeting up with any one else.

What's unclear? STAY AT HOME

TheTiaraManager · 23/03/2020 20:48

Of course it is a lockdown & it should be

krustykittens · 23/03/2020 20:48

If it looks like a lockdown, talks like a lockdown - it is a lockdown.

TheGreatWave · 23/03/2020 20:48

Does that mean right now? Are we allowed to leave for home if we're at someones house?

Well you shouldn't even be there. (Unless it is work/providing care)

I think he is right to avoid the word lockdown, he just explained what it meant.

FloconDeNeige · 23/03/2020 20:48

So this proved the OP to be talking out if her arse!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 23/03/2020 20:48

What happens with shared parental care? My SILs controlling ex is now saying he cannot bring their child home til after lockdow

Deadsouls · 23/03/2020 20:49

And, he said, we should get online deliveries for food, can't get a slot anyway, so how does that work?

Sostenueto · 23/03/2020 20:49

somm how much food you got in your house? I spent 4 hours on Friday trying to get a pint of milk! I'm a penshioner, one of the 1 and a half million on lockdown as from today for 12 weeks. I have only managed to get bare essentials for 4 days because supermarkets stripped bare by selfish panic ridden twats! My dog has hardly any food now pet shops will be closed. It took 10 days for me to get a toilet roll. I was using face tissues because of selfish bastards buying so much. No thought for people like me in the middle of cancer treatment having to go out for hours every day in crowds of people just to get enough food for a day. Do I hope the army, the police, arrest fine, or even imprison as many people as possible who would not do as they were advised to do. The more the merrier especially those who have freezers full of food a billions worth in three weeks sold. I hope they choke on every mouthful they eat!
My contempt is beyond words. I have had to put myself in constant danger every single day for weeks. I even broke down in shops last week! I have seen food snatched from an old ladies hands by a man in his thirties. Karma is a great thing.

endofthelinefinally · 23/03/2020 20:49

You will need proof. Paperwork.

XingMing · 23/03/2020 20:49

@Hatrack, if they don't live in your house, you don't see them. Is that clear enough?

WhatWouldYouDoWhatWouldJesusDo · 23/03/2020 20:49

Just popping on to say you were wrong 😂😂😂

slartibarti · 23/03/2020 20:49

Does that mean right now? Are we allowed to leave for home if we're at someones house?

No you can't leave, you have to stay there for the next 3 months.
