*AllWashedOut In the absence of work people will start to reconnect, especially parents with their children
People will rediscover the pleasure of cooking meals, bread, cakes rather than convenience food, get healthier
People will love their gardens, grow veg and finally enjoy what they've worked hard for
People will value local fruit and veg sellers, they will buy up boxes and buy into membership schemes some farms have, shop at local businesses - I'm seeing a lot of love like this in my rural part of the world. V heartening.
People will be too scared to travel abroad (cruise ships especially) fuelling a boom of staycations and having the effect of massively reducing carbon emissions
(yes, I'm a glass-half-full person grin)*
I love this, and feel hopeful this could happen.
Also wanted to say thanks to the CatNeuterer, people who prioritise the vulnerable, no matter who or what they are, are the best in our society.
