Will you go ahead with Easter travel plans

Just curious as to whether people that have holidays booked over Easter plan to go ahead with their trips?

DSis is on the one hand insisting that her DCs primary should shut but at the same time has no intention of cancelling her family holiday in Europe over Easter Confused

@minesabecks check your emails as easyjet are offering free changes to booked upcoming flights

Minesabecks · 14/03/2020 12:49

Thanks branleus but I think that is still just no fees (which is good in itself) but you still need to pay any difference between your current flight cost and the new flight. And (surprise surprise) they are all more expensive in the October holidays than they were when I bought them.
If there were fees too, it would cost more than the original flights.

Branleuse · 14/03/2020 12:55

i cant see october holidays availability yet?

Minesabecks · 14/03/2020 12:57

They have them up to 24th October which is when we would return (possibly different October hols!)

Worried for all those already in Spain that were maybe due to return on the flights that suddenly turned around mid flight. I hope they will be accepted on other airlines.

This is an ever changing situation and anyone considering travel abroad right now or over Easter needs to give their head a good old MN wobble and get a bloody grip.

We are in the Maldives at the moment and have changed our flights to come home tomorrow.

To anyone who is planning to still go away, I would strongly advise against it. We bitterly regret coming, the situation was very different when we left and now have to hope we can get home.

We are losing a lot of £ by coming home now, I wish we had lost the lot my not coming at all. The stress and guilt of being here is not worth any of it.
