Glad to hear you are ok. Are you using a steroid inhaler as well as a reliever?

Inkpaperstars · 16/03/2020 23:32

@Mittens030869. Hope you are still improving Flowers

I haven’t taken inhalers for years and neither has DH so no inhalers here, we are fine, just fed up of one another’s company

My colleagues family member was a crew member on the Princess Diamond when it was the first cruise ship to go down with CV. She updated us daily about his progress and he actually never got it even after staying in The Wirral for another 2 weeks. However two of his close friends and other crew members tested positive but displayed no symptoms at all. Weird.

@Inkpaperstars Thank you for asking after me, Mumsnet has been so supportive towards me. I'm still having very bcoughing fits but the mucus has reduced for now thankfully so I'm breathing okay.

One strange symptom which I've never had before, though. My body temperature, which was spiking into a low-grade fever on and off, plunged below 36 last night but was back at my normal temperature this morning. It did that on Sunday morning briefly as well, but I assumed that my thermometer wasn't working properly.

Inkpaperstars · 17/03/2020 12:26

So glad you're improving @Mittens030869

That seems odd about the temperature, I am not a medic so don't know if it's normal. It could be the thermometer or maybe the body's thermostat is disrupted.

Hope you can cosy up today.
