Would you cope with quarantine?

Just that really, if we were all told to stay home and self quarantine for two weeks, how would you and your family cope?

DD would be fine as long as she had her tablet
I would be fine for a few days but would start to get stir crazy after that
Would probably have enough food to last 2 weeks - might just be plain pasta and rice by the end, but we would survive.

@Hotwaterbottlelove on holiday we go out every day? Kids play on beach or in pool, we do a lot of walking (easily 20,000 steps a day), we visit local attractions and cafes, we see what sports are available - in the last few holidays we went running, diving, horse riding, wind surfing, fruit picking, National Trust, boat trips... surely most people don't just stay in their hotel room?

I've just moved to Algeria (as you do) for work. Arrived Thursday night and as I've cone from the UK via Barcelona I'm considered risky and so quarantined in the hotel I'm staying in.
It's only been a few days but am pretty bored. I am allowed to be out of my room which is something, though i do try to be responsible ... sitting miles away from people at breakfast, only going downstairs for essentials ....
Work is closed until 4th April and being new in post there are several things I could be doing .... I could also be trying to improve my French / Arabic by watching Algerian TV. I have actually decided to try and get into a routine and do admin, some professional development courses on line, YouTube exercise things etc. It really isn't fun though.

@Hollywhiskey sure I think I see your pint but you are still in each others company. Many people's posts were not about being bored but about getting annoyed by family members because of having to spend large amounts of time with them.
Maybe the annoyance would stem from the boredom?

*As a runner it'd be a nightmare! I run everyday and eat lots of cake and crap so I imagine after a two weeks quarantine I'd be huge!

Otherwise I'd enjoy the time off work and read lots*

I put this a few weeks back, I'm now stuck in an appartment in spain and we're not allowed out unless to go to the supermarket or pharmacy.

I'm eating lots and managing a small run in the gated complex. Just chilling, reading and drinking too much!

Well above I reckoned on 26 February that it'd be a dream. I'm pregnant and so it seems I'm about to find out what 12 weeks of not going outside looks like!
