How on earth can this be justified? Organisations like MAP which have worked for years and are fully registered. Another example of Israels inhumanity.

if no interest in going over old ground perhaps stop spreading the same Israeli misinformation? Just a thought

But that’s exactly what I think you & others are doing though I’m trying to be polite.

MyCatStoleSausages · 04/01/2026 10:35

So someone from MSF watches a child being shot point blank in the head by an Israeli. They aren't allowed to seek justice for that child, can't help with a legal case or MSF will be banned from helping more children. That's a positive thing in your mind because 'personal views' should be kept out of 'sensitive areas'. What a fascinating way to describe the situation.

I agree with people keeping their personal views out of it while operating in the highly sensitive area that is Gaza.

7/10 has shown Israel (for anyone doubting it before) that they can’t be too careful. In fact they have been criticised for not being careful enough pre the Hamas attack.

I agree with people keeping their personal views out of it while operating in the highly sensitive area that is Gaza.

It's not personal views we're talking about witnessing war crimes and providing evidence for what they are seeing and dealing with. Aid organisations across the world have always reported on what is the reality on the ground in the areas they are working in because they have access. You expect them just ignore the injustices? Ever heard of complicity.

I expect them to do the job that are being paid to do and let others protest against Israel, campaign against them etc. Aid workers in highly sensitive areas should appear neutral so both sides will allow them to carry on doing their job.

The actions of a few employees within these NGOs have led to the whole organisation potentially having to stop working in Gaza which doesn’t help the people they want to help.

They are and they do.

You clearly know very little about the role of humanitarian workers in conflict zones so best to leave it there.

Yes but a lot of the journalists or so called journalists were found to have links to Hamas. We have been over all this before so have no interest in going over old ground.

By who? Israel? Have you watched Breaking Ranks yet - the IDF soldiers on it say you can blow up a building or kill someone and just say they are Hamas or feel threatened. They admit that it is used to cover up war crimes.

They are and they do … only for the next 60 days though then they are out of Gaza?

Well you choose to believe without question everything that comes from Hamas affiliated sources …

If you are in denial that some so called journalists were found to have links to Hamas then it’s hopefully debating with you.

Which I already know it is to be fair, from previous comments you’ve made.

The UN,respected NGOs such as MSF, news sources such as the BBC and the Guardian, Israeli human rights orgs such as Betselem are not Hamas affiliated

You seem to believe every word that comes out of Gaza from local “journalists” & we both know some of them are not impartial and some even photographed with Hamas leaders. Some say even that’s not evidence so I don’t know what would be.

Shame on you repeating baseless claims

On 31 July 2025, UN Special Rapporteur Irene Khan condemned repeated threats and smear campaigns by the Israeli army against Al-Sharif, calling them dangerous attempts to silence his reporting on the war in Gaza. She highlighted how Al-Sharif, described as "the last surviving journalist of Al Jazeera in northern Gaza", had been accused without evidence of being a "Hamas terrorist", placing his life at serious risk. Khan stressed that, while Israel bars international reporters from entering Gaza, it simultaneously targets and undermines local journalists, who serve as the world's "eyes" on atrocities.

The Israeli military confirmed they had targeted Al-Sharif, reiterating their claim that he was a Hamas fighter.According to BBC News, The Guardian, and The Economist, the Israeli military has not provided sufficient evidence for their accusation.

The Guardian also questioned how Al-Sharif could "have juggled a military command role with regular broadcast duties in one of the most heavily surveilled places on Earth"

Twiglets1 · 04/01/2026 16:18

I just don't know how to respond to someone that ignores photographic evidence.

Twiglets1 · 04/01/2026 16:20

To add @Everexpanding it is irrelevant that this man had 2 children.

At best he was a Hamas sympathiser which means he didn't care about Jewish people - including children - being targeted and killed by them.

Everexpanding · 04/01/2026 16:20

Of a journalist meeting someone, I don’t know how to respond someone who denies anything but what comes out of the idfs mouth, but you do you @Twiglets1

He didn't just meet Hamas leaders, if you look at the link I posted they are hugging and clearly very close.

Everexpanding · 04/01/2026 16:27

Journalists meet people that is what they do, as stated previously Israel has provided zero credible evidence to back up their smears
once more “According to BBC News, The Guardian, and The Economist, the Israeli military has not provided sufficient evidence for their accusation.”

Jewish people are real people too, they have families and children and it's sick to me that people like this journalist could cuddle up to Hamas.

Everexpanding · 04/01/2026 16:41

Yes many jewish people are lovely nobody on here has referred to Jewish people except you, the discussion is about the Israeli governments actions, actions that many many Jewish people oppose
