That's an ASSAULT?!

I've seen much worse in Asda!

Exactly.

People are getting murdered in gaza by the very people they elected who should be protecting them yet the op is so very bothered by 2 kids getting moved along by soldiers.

The selective and out of proportion outrage on these threads is absolutely depressing but sadly not surprising.

Are you starting a thread about the lawlessness in gaza op, how the terrorists keep shooting people or you not bothered about that?

Icanthinkformyselfthanks · 20/10/2025 08:51

@Wedonttalkaboutboris , none of the videos you’ve posted show an assault of any description. The soldiers are attempting to move the children but we don’t have context, have you considered the possibility that they are trying to remove the children from harm’s way? One child goes easily holding the soldier’s hand, does a frightened child usually happily hold the hand of an adult who scares them? The other child is refusing to move so the soldier momentarily attempts to encourage them to get up by pulling them. Have you never seen this sort of thing by a mother with a difficult child in a supermarket? When the child won’t get up the soldier does not continue to encourage him to do so but releases the child and another soldier comes along to talk to the child.
You are completely misrepresenting what is shown in these videos, why would you do that?

CrossChecking · 20/10/2025 10:21

Comparing a mother in the supermarket with the army who are currently the world's biggest child killing machine?! Yeah it's totally the same thing, I bet the mum in supermarket then meets up with her mates and goes on to kill a classroom full of children each and every day.

Why would anyone try and compare a mother in a supermarket with that? Pretending like violent soldiers known for their racist policies and child killings dragging a kid around is in anyway comparable to a mum in the supermarket?

Well yeah, you’d expect the soldiers to be lot more heavy handed with them than their mothers wouldn’t you?

I saw this. Another example of their evilness.

You saw it? Could you perhaps explain what the “example of their evilness” was in that particular clip? Or did you watch a different one?

Boomboombo · 20/10/2025 16:40

Interview with the two boys in the video.

I await your propagated excuses

What is evil about it, he grabs a arm and pulls him away?!

You are talking to the wrong people. Apparently mumsnet mums would happily hand their kids off to a foreign army who are institutionally racist against them. No probs at all with child killers throwing their kids around because they were playing, they'd be like cheers for the babysitting my man!

@inamarina , the soldiers are Jews and are therefore ‘evil’. All Jews are evil in the eyes of a certain type of person.

@CrossChecking , I really think you should watch the videos. No child was thrown around. 🙄

Yeah like I said you'd be grand with a foreign army who are institutionally racist against you and are the most profuse child killers in the world doing that to your little kids, we get it and we absolutely believe you.

@CrossChecking , you don’t have to believe me; just park your apparent prejudice and look at the videos. 😉

Sure it's me that is prejudiced not the people excusing small children who were playing being dragged around by a foreign, racist army currently accused of carrying out a genocide of the same people by major NGOs and the UN and comparing it to a Mam in a supermarket. What's next, trying to convince us that Myra Hindley would have made a wonderful babysitter?

TakeMe2Insanity · 20/10/2025 20:42

The downplaying by the pro Israelis is ridiculous. Accept that your army likes killing kids, likes snatching them and putting them without charge in prison.

Down playing of a non-event?
Presumably you’ll be a pro-pally, so accept that Hamas likes killing Jewish kids and if it was Hamas in that video the results would be very different.
Fortunately the IDF are a professional army, as seen in the video, and no harm came to them.

soddingspiderseason · 20/10/2025 21:33

Sudan. Congo. Nigeria. Myanmar. Yemen. Never a mention of the appalling situation for children there. They don’t matter so it seems. This video does not show assault of two children by the IDF, but soldiers moving two children on in a war zone.

Great thanks, how are you? Yes I did, I saw it yesterday.

BadgernTheGarden · 21/10/2025 06:08

Hardly violent assault, one man pulled a small boy to his feet, took the other one by the arm and walked them away. No idea what was going on, perhaps they were in a dangerous place. It' a war zone not a play park.
