Conflict in the Middle East

Did anyone say they’re the most moral army in the world?

I haven’t opened the link, but I find the outrage over incidents like this but tumbleweed regarding Hamas executing their competitors to be so irritating

If you watch this footage a soldier takes 2 children by the arm and leads them along. They were sitting in the road. Nothing happens to them and the video ends. Strange. Gasps of awful. As someone else said, did people watch this, you see this in the park daily, nothing happens

I’m posting because it’s been shared all over my social media.

As a mum of two young children and as a human I find it too shocking not to share.

It’s disgusting and the crimes they have gotten away with each day just rack up every week.

You found that video too shocking ...which bit?

Israeli TikToker and fitness trainer Hen Ben Moha, who has over 189k followers, posted a video showing her trainees exercising to the song “May their village burn”, a track referring to Palestinian villages and glorifying their destruction. The women are singing along at the top of their lungs:

Why am I not surprised you get your information from TikTok and Instagram?

I found it on an Instagram site called celebrities4palestine and you did mention celebrities earlier so I guess there's a connection. Do sites like that seem like a good source of information to you? What's wrong with getting your news from actual news sites? Sites like celebrities4palestine don't make any attempt to appear impartial in their "reporting." If this exercise class actually exists they are hardly representative of an average group of 30ish Israeli women and I fear for you if you think this can be extrapolated to what young Israeli women are like.

Notice on the same Instagram site they are crying over that Gazan social media influencer who got killed recently - the one with more outfits than Mr Benn (medic, journalist, soldier etc) who cheered on October 7th.

Repeat after me: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other similar user-created drivel are not reputable sources and are full of fakes and crap.

Thank goodness you said that.I presume that also goes for all the shite on x regarding new restaurants in Gaza/markets full of food that is posted on here.

personally I would say Yes it does.

@Martymcfly24 ’I think the arrogance of anyone to downplay the fears those boys had is astounding.’

The thread is titled ‘Israeli Soldiers assault two little boys’. No doubt the boys were scared, but that’s not the topic, is it?

I’ve also seen a video today of a group of 30ish Israeli women in their exercise class chanting ‘may your villages burn’. The dehumanisation of and hatred for Palestinians seems deeply embedded into the culture.

Do you get all of your "news" from social media? It's very easy to fake videos; anyone with a phone and an app can do it. (I'm not saying the video in the quoted post is fake). Do you not do a little digging to find out where the video originated from?

I'm constantly baffled by the "adults" who source all their news from social media! I could post a video claiming aliens have landed in Downing St and abducted Keir Starmer, and there are plebs out there who will run with it, repost it and believe it!

Here’s another clip where you can see the soldier dragging the child along the ground. So horrific. I really hope anyone who says that this is okay does not have kids.

The little boy in green looks terrifed the way he is backing away . Id say he is very young.

The soldier was obviously trying to get the kid to get up.

Why are these two kids out without any adult supervision visible in a fucking war zone?

Who just conveniently managed to catch it on film - the family?

It looks like the boys were told to move and refused so the IDF had to use NON INJURIOUS and NON LETHAL force to get them to move.

It doesn’t look like they were scared or they would have moved straight away. In fact, it looked like they were refusing to do as they were told which most children wouldn’t do to soldiers unless they knew the soldiers weren’t going to harm them (and I’ve seen enough videos of Palestinian kids to see that many are not afraid at ALL).

Who knows why they needed them to move - could have been an evacuation area.

If that was the case would you have preferred the IDF didn’t make them move?

If they were scared, they would have moved, not had to be dragged along though?

They would have done as they were told which was obviously to get up and move.

Plenty of videos of IDF interactions with Palestinian kids. Kids are not scared of them.

TicklishMauveSquid · 19/10/2025 22:45

Could you share some of those videos please?

TicklishMauveSquid · 19/10/2025 23:04

Never forgot this video which was one of the earliest things I remember when I started researching the history of this conflict. Shocking and probably sealed my perception of the Palestinian propaganda.

A Palestinian man waving his flag, picks up and pushes a small boy also waving his flag, towards an IDF troop shouting at them to shoot him and telling the child to throw stones at the soldiers. A soldier takes the boys hand and has a chat, and he half heartedly throws a few stones then sits near them quite comfortablle while the Palestinian man continues shouting at the IDF to shoot him.

Sums this conflict up completely IMO.

Sick and tragic. Makes you wonder what became of that poor child and what he grew up to be.

That video is nearly ten years old, they have murdered 20000 kids since then.

And that is your proof Palestinan kids are not afraid of the IDF?

No I think it shows that that particular man is quite happy to put his child in danger.

Strange that people believe anything they see on TikTok or X as its mostly unverified bollocks. Its not an opinion, its a fact.
