It seems too good to be true, a final end to the war.

After all the plans that were announced with regards to annexation and the Israeli far-right government members, I can’t help but feel that once all of the hostages are released Israel will go ham on Gaza.

There will be nothing to stop them bombing everywhere.

No hostages to avoid bombing.

No families pleading with the Israeli ministers.

Israel has broken so many ceasefires and this was with the hostages lives at stake.

I don’t know, but I can’t celebrate with everyone as I don’t believe it will last and my heart says that’s it’s going to get worse.

Well let's face it there is a long standing culture amongst some Israelis to call for the death of Palestinians, to actually murder them, burn them out of their homes, laugh and make up vile chants about the deaths of children at their hands. They host rapists on national tv and give them standing ovations, their democratically elected lawmakers call the rape of prisoners legitimate and they riot outside prisons for the release of rape suspects.

Unfortunately Israeli children are brainwashed into an ideology that’s very function is to demonise Palestinians and this allows them to carry out the atrocities that we have seen over the past number of decades once they reach adulthood and join the IDF. There are numerous videos of these atrocities and testimonies from the people carrying them out if you care to find them.

When we can see with our own eyes rapists lauded on TV, elected representatives saying that rape is legitimate, Israeli citizens rioting for the release of rapists, Israeli citizens including radicalised Israeli children marching up and down Palestinian streets calling for their deaths, 4 violent Israeli terrorist attacks against Palestinians every single day, a gang rape carried out by multiple Israelis on a Palestinian prisoner why would we assume that the sexual assault of children would be a step too far and that the victims are the liars not the people responsible for the deaths of 20000 children, the people marching up and down the streets calling for their deaths and violently attacking them every single day.

You're describing fringe elements of Israeli society. The IDF are made up mainly of conscripts, ie normal young people from the full cross section of society.

Like I said Israelis elected someone who has said the rape of detainees is legitimate. Israelis have rioted for the release of rape suspects. Israelis have lauded a rapist on TV after seeing a video of him violently gang raping a man. These are facts, things that have happened in Israeli society. They have shown us and told us that they don't have a problem with the rape of detainees. The video we saw of violent Israelis gang raping a Palestinian was not a cavity search. People were not protesting for the right to cavity search Palestinians they were protesting for gang rapists to be freed.

And a poster here called victims of child sexual abuse radicalised liars and jew haters. Not a single person called her out for that.
