App to boycott Israeli goods

the “No Thanks” app, which first appeared almost two years ago carrying a large list of companies and brands consumers might consider boycotting because of Israeli links.
The app has become a key tool for the BDS movement that targets Israel economically for the actions of its government and its military in Gaza.
Along with a list of companies and brands to boycott, the app allows users to scan barcodes to find out more about the relationship particular products have with Israel.

I would highly recommend the app, the more people that use it the better. Oh I have also used it when buying new clothes and even looking at which streaming sites I use and where I book holidays etc., it’s very informative.

You’re right. It would just be so nice to be able to talk about this just once without the constant derailing and whataboutery. I need to remember to not respond to those posters.

As I said, 2state solution under moderate governance. There are those who think Israel should not exist at all, though seem not to be troubled by other countries formed at the same time.

This again? Is it your only defence? Other people are doing bad things as well you know!!! I'm glad the app exists and have been actively using it for some time.

most people (good, kind hearted) just want this senseless genocide and starvation of the innocents to stop. That’s it! We wish you felt an ounce of kindness towards the innocents as you do about empowering the already fat with billions and nuclear armed Israel

You also have to get rid of your smart phone, your laptop with an intel processor and before you take any medicine or have any cancer treatment please investigate where it was invented.

This was discussed already further up the thread am aware full boycott nigh on impossible but would rather do the small things I can rather than nothing

I think people are very selective about how much hardship they are prepared to take on for the cause!

Well I would most definitely not advise anyone to swerve medication or cancer treatment but every other choice counts, do something rather than nothing

To everyone posting in good faith: please try and ignore the deflectors and derailers that always turn up on these threads.

They do not want us to discuss these issues and are on a campaign of deflection and whataboutery designed to take us away from the conversation at hand.

Can we all think of a recent social movement that did not want any debate, tried to derail every conversation and took part in DARVO tactics to silence dissenters? 🤔

As others have said, it’s interesting that your boycotts don’t seem to extend to other countries that are committing actual atrocities and genocides.

This is very obviously untrue. You started this post asking others to ignore those who are trying to debate issues raised in this thread. It is you who is attempting to close down debate.
