App to boycott Israeli goods

the “No Thanks” app, which first appeared almost two years ago carrying a large list of companies and brands consumers might consider boycotting because of Israeli links.
The app has become a key tool for the BDS movement that targets Israel economically for the actions of its government and its military in Gaza.
Along with a list of companies and brands to boycott, the app allows users to scan barcodes to find out more about the relationship particular products have with Israel.

  • So he spent decades trying to thwart a Palestinian state.
  • He's leader of a political party (founded about 50 years ago) whose constitution says there will never be a Palestinian state, which has remained it's position throughout.
  • he has publicly said there will not be a Palestinian state because the land belongs to Israel

And somehow from that you think he just means now, this precise time...

Oh and I thought you trusted the BBC. Only when it tells you what you want to hear I guess.

He said that over 90% of Israelis are opposed to a Palestinian state, as an argument for not reaching a peace settlement.

Doesn't sound like it's just him and that a Palestinian state will never be sanctioned by whoever is in power with stats like that.

Not really surprising at the moment that most Israelis are opposed to a Palestinian state.

But "never" as I said before is a long time. He is talking about what his beliefs but that doesn't mean it will be that way forever.

Self preservation, this is allegedly a leaked email from Microsoft:

I reiterated at 20:05 that I do still trust the BBC so the snide last sentence was unnecessary and once again - just wrong.

I read it on the BBC website. I took the quote off the BBC website.Take it up with them.

There is no quote where the word "never" is used which is the word that I disputed.

He knows he's talking to a load of halfwits so simple measures are needed.

Love his comment that his speech is being transmitted to hamas phones. I bet they get a bit of a sweat on when they see a notification after the pagers incident.

Edited

Finally we can agree on something. The ones who stayed to hear Netanyahu were the halfwits.

Noted that you still haven’t denied your support for Netanyahu

Twiglets1 · 26/09/2025 20:41

PaxAeterna · 26/09/2025 20:22

So perhaps we could all agree that even though Netanyahu is attempting to ensure that there is never a Palestinian state, that intervention from the US could keep the possibility open.

Not quite but we can agree that even though Netanyahu is attempting to ensure that there is no Palestinian state, intervention from the US could keep the possibility open.

But I did.

I literally said "No" when I replied to @PaxAeterna question about whether I support Netanyahu at 20:15 today.

PaxAeterna · 26/09/2025 20:49

Gloriia · 26/09/2025 17:53

It was on the news?

He didn’t say it was Hamas phones actually. Here’s the quote

“Ladies and gentlemen, Thanks to special efforts by Israeli intelligence, my words are now also being carried, they’re streamed live to the cellphones of Gazans”

I think your main problem is that by constantly conflating civilians and terrorists you are justifying genocide.

There we go again ... I mention one thing and you go off on a tangent about something else.

itsnotveryfriendlyhereisit · 26/09/2025 20:56

No, @Twiglets1 , not a tangent. You police these threads fairly religiously, tell people off for personal attacks, emotive language, being rude, yadda yadda, and yet expect to get away with it yourself. I’m just pointing out my frustration with it all. Admit it, and move on.

Agree with this. The hypocrisy is astounding.

The loudspeakers around Gaza blaring out his speech was a new level of psychopathy witnessed in this war. Are all his advisors yes men? Israeli diplomacy is in tatters.

I don't "police" these threads, I am not a policewoman.

Yes I comment on personal attacks and rudeness and report people for it sometimes. As people report me if I make a mistake and break site rules.

Radio propaganda was one of the key spreaders of hatred during the Rwanda genocide.

During other genocides, vehicles were driven around in order to broadcast propaganda and intimidate the persecuted population.

Evil doesn’t even describe it.

Anyone would think that @Twiglets1 was getting to you.
You seem so chipper with the progress at the UN, don't spoil your mood.

UltraCynica · 26/09/2025 22:03

On a positive note (and to ignore the blindingly obvious attempts at derailing this thread) the last few days has shown steady progress towards an end to the human rights violations being carried out by Israel:

3 more major countries recognising the state of Palestine, the military's of 3 European countries assisting the flotilla aid envoy with safe passage to Gaza, Donald Trump stating that he will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank, Netanyahu completely snubbed at the UN general assembly.

The tide is definitely on the turn.
