It is so sickening that they continue to act with such impunity. The bombed the hospital killing four journalists and THEN struck a second time killing the rescue workers who were trying to retrieve the bodies of the dead and injured.

The genocide continues in plain sight.

An injured emergency worker is led away by two other emergency workers. There is rubble and wreckage behind them. He is badly hurt.

Four journalists among 15 killed in Israeli strike on hospital, Gaza officials say

The strikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis are said to have killed journalists working for international media.

It would have been fair to label them "trigger happy" if no Hamas militants had been found but actually they were. At least 6 of them.

Surprising to me that you are still saying "thought they spotted a rifle" when it now appears there would have been at least 6 rifles.

So you have now resorted to making up excuses and lies for the IDF even when they haven't said it themselves. Show me one credible report that says there was 6 rifles? The IDF have drones and footage of everything so why wont they show this alleged Hamas camera and the rifles they say were there and used to justify this heinous attack?

Or are you just going to carry on blindly believing everything they say to justify their genocidal actions?

Don't bother answering i already know what the answer is.

I can only say thank fuck the majority are not so blind and even our own useless government is starting to wake up.

Can someone clarify for me - Are they claiming that they targeted a camera then a rifle but accidentally killed Hamas members who they know the names of?

Something like that but then expect to see changes to the story as they tend to make it up as they go along. Originally it was a 'tragic mishap' but now its all ok because they claim that the mishap ended up killing Hamas members.

As far as I can tell, they were meant to use a drone to take out the camera. Then, they spotted the rifle sight so used two shells. 10mins later, there were armed people (assumed Hamas - poss the 6 IDF) identified and they used to more shells to take them out.

This is what I’ve gleaned from the IDF updates/MM rather than any ‘factual’ updates.

Like clockwork it seems the new Hasbara talking points have been issued to be spread and absolve the IDF of any wrong doing.

The fact that the IDF are going to all this trouble only lends support to the rumour that some people in Trump’s administration are extremely unhappy with this incident. Bombing people on live TV is not a good look.

P.s. If the IDF "targets" people who well already killed elsewhere and on the previous day does it magically become justified?

This is the problem isn't it? Israel can pull out any names and say yeah, he's Hamas or claim they killed them at the hospital when they were killed previously. Another 5 journalists down it really limits who can actually investigate these claims. Given the level of fact bending that they have done in the past their credibility isn't really there anymore to all but the die hards.

Israel have only managed to name less than 9000 militants they have killed in almost 2 years yet here we are with 6 names and photos neatly lined up from a bombing 2 days ago, where are the names and photos of the other 13000 people they claim to have killed in the past 2 years? If their technology is so great that without men on the ground they can name these men that they accidentally killed who were presumably in rubble within 2 days you would imagine they would have made more headway with the other 13000 they say they have killed?

They lie and they lie and they lie

Twiglets1 · 27/08/2025 10:32

Can agree @PinkBobby that it’s so hard in this conflict to know who is telling the truth.

I do believe what is being said about the first drone strike on the camera as it makes sense.

The second part is definitely more confused logic and harder to understand exactly what could have happened. The IDF are still investigating it themselves but I accept we can’t just trust that their explanation will be completely truthful. I also accept many people will feel it was disproportionate. I’m not too sure how to feel about it myself and don’t think I ever will know how to feel unless I become convinced that I know all the facts (unlikely in this case).

I’m assuming each Hamas militant would have a rifle which I think is a fair assumption.

Yet the IDF havent even once said anything about multiple rifles but here we are. You carry on making up things to defend the indefensible.

The camera wasn't a "Hamas camera". It was the camera belonging to Reuters cameraman Hussam al-Masri, who was killed in the initial attack.

In the IDF X post, I think it says that there were armed Hamas members who appeared after the first strike (which was aimed at the camera and single rifle sights) hence the second strike.

Little of their analysis makes sense to me and I don’t trust the IDF version of events.

Another report from 7 News Australia confirming that it was the camera the IDF claim was the Hamas camera.

Exactly, 2 of the alleged Hamas militants were already dead prior to the bombing of the Hospital.

Another one was a fire /rescue worker who has previously co-ordinated with Israel to arrange rescues.

It only works because to some people Palestinian = Hamas and they take what the IDF says as gospel. It will only be effective whilst the IDF can control the information space.

The old adage of a lie can travel halfway around the World whilst the truth is putting it's shoes on.

Thankfully there are groups dedicated to documenting all this evidence, identifying the perpetrators and lawyers who in the future will sue.

Amazing how it takes action from the IDF to attract condemnation at this method.
Russia has been doing this to Ukrainian rescue workers since 2022.
Did no one ever notice?

You're welcome. The attempts to justify the deaths of 20 innocent people by using the flimsy excuse of a "Hamas camera" is making me furious. It reminds me of when Hamza Al-Dahdouh (son of Wael Al-Dahdouh) was murdered and the IDF used the flimsy excuse of "a Hamas drone". Well, it wasn't a Hamas drone, it was the his camera drone that he used to film the destruction of Gaza.

Bullshit.

Why did they order foreign doctors to leave before the strike?
Why was there a double tap strike (illegal under the Geneva Convention) if it was just to hit a camera surely the first one would have taken it out?
Why was it a tragic mistake yesterday but today there's a reason and the case is closed.

They have to give their War Crime apologists something to say.

I would say the condemnation of Russia is pretty consistent across the board. The support for Ukrainian civilians isn’t polarised as it is with Palestinians.

Russia shouldn’t be at war end of.

Israel’s war is justified but its rhetoric and disregard for innocent lives is not.
