It is so sickening that they continue to act with such impunity. The bombed the hospital killing four journalists and THEN struck a second time killing the rescue workers who were trying to retrieve the bodies of the dead and injured.

The genocide continues in plain sight.

An injured emergency worker is led away by two other emergency workers. There is rubble and wreckage behind them. He is badly hurt.

Four journalists among 15 killed in Israeli strike on hospital, Gaza officials say

The strikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis are said to have killed journalists working for international media.

Gosh how surprising that the same people are here doing all they can to defend Israel at any cost. One day I hope they wake up and feel shame.

I only claimed the Hamas militants would have been carrying weapons no one else.

So 6 more people holding weapons rushed in on the crowded staircase unseen to anybody in the seconds before the 2nd explosion? The IDF was then, without any boots on the ground, able to identify the remains of those 6 people pulled from the rubble who rushed in carrying weapons and name them as terrorists. That seems 'not much of a stretch' to you despite the fact that literally no one else even the IDF is claiming that this is what happened, but you are definitely not biased in anyway, completely neutral.

dairydebris · 27/08/2025 13:50

Reminder that if those 6/ 10/ however many terrorists it was had surrendered 1 month / 1 week / 1 day ago then this hospital wouldn't have been bombed and all those innocent bystanders would be at home with their families.

More pointless waste.

Have you ever noticed the term "Hamas run health ministry" when the BBC etc are reporting about what happens in hospitals? Hamas are the government body that runs hospitals.

Local doctors and nurses in Gaza are employed by Hamas like doctors and nurses in England are employed by the NHS (unless they work in private sector).

Yes Hamas is the Government but that doesn't mean they are physically present in any of the hospitals, just like members of our Government are not present in our hospitals! So to implicate that hamas are inside the hospitals up to no good, or storing ammunition there, (as Israel constantly tries to insist in order to justify bombing them) is ridiculous. Because the actual staff who are running the hospitals would know.

Twiglets1 · 27/08/2025 13:51

Things are just being made up now so no point me continuing on this thread.

I'm not defending the IDF re the killings of non Hamas people.

But 6 of the dead were identified as Hamas militants so that's a good thing at least.

Yes, people supporting the IDF's indefensible actions are making up all sorts to continue defending their war crimes.

If you say so... I can't bother with this level of debate so carry on as you were. I think when I joined the conversation you were all confident you knew exactly what happened with this incident. And it seems you still are as you're not interested in even considering there could be an alternative explanation for why this camera/hospital was targeted.

There is no reason to target a hospital!
That's why it's a war crime!

'lets imagine that there were Hamas militants with rifles. Is it then ok to kill civilians including health workers and journalists? No'

It isn't ok no. You'd think hamas would keep well away from civilians for the very risk posed to them wouldn’t you?

You think Hamas care? Of course they don't.

This attack weakened Israel, not Hamas. And puts more Israeli soldiers at risk of being tried for war crimes.

Except they bombed the hospital because they saw a 'Hamas' camera in an area that journalists who usually have cameras have been working for over a year.

The NHS is funded and overseen by the Government. Are you suggesting every person who works in the NHS supports Labour? Do they switch allegiance with every change of government?

You are the one that has been making things up, like 6 militants with guns being on the staircase despite photos showing unarmed people, but you are hopping on your high horse and riding away from the thread?

Edited

You totally missed the point, doesn't surprise me at all of course.

Call for Hamas to surrender and accept terms asap.

Enough of this.

Gloriia · 27/08/2025 14:38

'You think Hamas care? Of course they don't.'

We know they don't care, my point is why don't people get outraged that hamas terrorists have their surveillance and teams among civilians thus increasing the risk of civilian deaths? Why do folk constantly moan about the IDF when hamas should stay clear of these areas?!

What point, that until Hamas surrender people like you and Twiglets will excuse hospitals being bombed because journalists had cameras there?

I'll get straight on the phone to Hamas but in the mean time maybe you could call on Israel to stop committing war crimes?

Hamas in the hospital
Hamas in the water
Hamas in the air
Hamas in the ground
Hamas in the journalists
Hamas in the medics
Hamas in the babies
Hamas in the aid agencies
Hamas cameras
Hamas in the UN
Hamas in the schools
Hamas in the left
Hamas in the flags
Hamas in the West Bank
Hamas in Jeremy Corbyn
Soon the whole world and everyone in it is going to need to be blown up because it seems as if Hamas are in the very essence of the universe

We know what the IDF can do. They did not need to bomb a hospital, twice, to take out a suspicious camera.

The IDF bombed a hospital.
That is a war crime.

I never said anything about anyone being on the staircase so again, people are just making things up.

What I said is 6 of the dead have been identified as Hamas militants. No idea if they were on the staircase or where they were.

But yes I do want to ride away from this thread, it's boring debating with people who just make stuff up all the time.

'The IDF bombed a hospital. That is a war crime'

They bombed a terrorist surveillance camera.

Hamas hide among civilians that too is a 'war crime'.

All sounds a bit like desperate minimising.

Terrorists carried out mass atrocities and need to be destroyed. Until then they are indeed embedded in the gazan community and various organisations. Not so sure about Jeremy Corbyn that would seem a stretch.

Although ... has anyone seen him lately?
