Israel murders another 15 people queieng for food

And many of them children no doubt. When will this sick government stop its mass murder of the Palestinian people?

There’s a segment on Sky about the settlers tonight. I watched the Louis Theroux documentary a few months ago, but it’s still absolutely baffling. It’s sickening. Totally sickening.

It is a sad irony that a nation reborn out of the guilt of genocide in WW2 is itself committing genocide and ethnic cleansing. The Israeli state are liars and murderers, the world sits by wringing its hands for fear that their critique might either be called anti-semitic and/or generate sanctions and tariffs from the big orange bully in the white house. The so called settlers are in fact invaders, thieves and murderers and should be imprisoned for their barbarous actions. It is Israel that should be subject to sanctions, travel bans and shown the disgust of the world for its actions. It is a shame on all nations that stand by and let this happen under a false narrative and threat of action by America - 80 years ago the world stood up to warmongers and bullies, now we give them air time on mainstream TV.

Because a significant portion of his base is Evangelical Christian and they believe Israel has a god given right to the land.

Disclaimer: I believe Israel has a right to the land too, just not God given, but instead based on ancestry, genetics, and history.

Palestinians have a claim on the land also, for the same reasons.

I’m sure I saw a programme years ago that evangelical Christians believe Jesus will only return to earth if the Jews are in Israel. GB Jr was an evangelical Christian and that’s why he was so pro Israel.

It's that the Jewish people are the Chosen People, that God gave them the land, and that the second coming/end of the world can't happen until Israel exists again and the temple is rebuilt. And they want the second coming, so are supporting Israel.

They believe that the creation of Israel is a sign we are in the end days, and was a prophesy coming true. Obviously in this view Jews will all turn to Christianity at this end point at well...

I'm a Christian, but it's makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I think the fundamentalist nutjobs of every religion have a lot to answer for.

Strange that you responded to a post that wasn’t directed as a response to one of yours, but failed to respond to it at all.

Rational thinking would question why if Israel is committing a genocide, would it allow any aid in at all, let alone 2 millions of tonnes worth (one tonne a person and half of the population are children), and why would it go to efforts to create an alternative aid system to bypass Hamas who use aid as a control and revenue mechanism to continue the war.

Why would it warn civilians to evacuate before targeting military targets?

Why are there more Palestinians in Gaza now than before Oct 7th?
