“Israel intensifies bombing of Gaza, killing 89 Palestinians in 24 hours
At least 15 people queueing for food among the deaths, and five people reported to have died from starvation” - Guardian

And many of them children no doubt. When will this sick government stop its mass murder of the Palestinian people?

Firstly I apologise that I could not recall your full tag and that you feel devalued by the term used - also I was not aware of your gender, it was agnostic to that.

In answer to your questions

  • Palestine was partitioned in 1947
  • It was 'ruled' by the British and before that the Ottomans, does this mean they own it - is another debate.
  • The increase in size is about 45% rising from about 15,000kmsq to its current size of about 22,000kmsq. Most of the increase came from the Arab part of Palestine itself, with the capture and annex of the Golan heights from Syria and East Jerusalem from Jordan.

I am sorry that you feel offended or on edge because your views are in the minority here. It cannot be nice to be in the minority and feel that every challenge is personal, I hope you understand that it is not. I am sure it is not the intention of anyone on here to silence minority voices. It is an emotive topic to see slaughter without end and feel powerless to stop it.

If you’re going to call people names, have the courage to be honest about it. There is a post of mine directly above yours calling me a ‘thing’ so your excuse for that is rubbish. You meant to call me that so own it.

I do not feel devalued by someone like you but you obviously intended to make me feel that.

Palestine was never a country.

It was never a sovereign state.

It was first partitioned in 1921 when 73% of the land was declared an Arab State.

The Arab Palestinians had no more right to claim it as such than the Jewish Palestinians which is why the land was shared.

So land wasn’t grabbed it was captured? Well done for clarifying that. You know why it was captured?

The Druze population of the Golan are safer under Israel than Syria (especially now) and it is an important military buffer which is needed due to Syrian aggression against Israel. It was also captured in a defensive war so not illegal occupation.

East Jerusalem was illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 after capturing it in a war of aggression against Israel. If you have no problem with Jordan illegally occupying it why is it a problem for Israel to occupy it after capturing it in a defensive war, especially as the Palestinians still refuse to declare their own State on the land?

Calling me a ‘thing’ was personal as you well know. I am not bothered about being a minority on here actually, I am interested in the truth not terrorist propaganda, and of course I am aware I’m not wanted on this board but it rather shows the mentality that you felt the need to insult and dehumanise me for not toeing the line doesn’t it?

Do you call for Hamas to surrender and release all the hostages btw?

That is something all pro-Palestinians should have been vehemently calling for over the last 22 months as it will have shown Hamas it doesn’t have support. Maybe that might make you feel less powerless and actually doing something to help Palestinians?

Hmmm. It seems you are unwilling to accept a genuine apology and instead profess to read my mind - good luck with that. As for Palestine and the suffering of the people there - if there was ever any doubt about what you feel about them - you have made yourself very clear.

I do not seen any further need for us to interact more - please try to have a happy life.

I will continue to call you out on your misinformation and obvious hatred for one side of this conflict.

If you really cared for the suffering of Palestinian people, you would hate Hamas just as much as you obviously do Israel.

Somehow I don’t think that’s the case.

There is no independent truth in Gaza outside of Hamas, the IDF, the military experts and journalists who have been in Gaza (neither of the latter agree with your analysis)

If you think is there is any other independent truth, can you tell me where it comes from?

Here’s a tip - doctors see injuries but don’t know where they came from/whether they were deliberate targets.

Considering the allegation that a hospital in Gaza refused to treat 20 Palestinian aid workers injured by Hamas (with more murdered) and left them for dead in the hospital courtyard, because they worked for the GHF, they are also almost certainly compromised by Hamas.

What I meant by Truth exists independently of both HAMAS and the IDF was literally that. Truth exists independent of all who claim to be the purveyor of truth. Not just specifically here.

I think you are agreeing with my point that both Hamas and the IDF gain by lying, so let’s go through the information we do have about the 15 dead from the queue.

  1. We agree that the people are dead
  2. we agree that they were in a food queue?
  3. From the guardian but with direct quotes The IDF said its forces had opened fire on a group of people they viewed as a threat but denied targeting civilians, adding that it was investigating the events. The GHF said the incident occurred in an area beyond their secure distribution site and control.
  4. Do you accept that this accurately represents their actions. They did open fire - but only on legitimate targets.
  5. Can you understand why some people will ask. What made those people legitimate targets; and how did the IDF know which people were not legitimate targets. It obviously is able to distinguish between combatants and civilians. So how do they know which people can legitimately be shot, whilst in the queue.
  6. Can you understand why some people will arrive at the conclusion that “being in the queue” is what makes one not a “civilian” for the purposes of extra judicial killing by the IDF.

Youre not making much sense really.
I'm not defending Israel on religious grounds. Statements that go back 1000's of years? What does that even mean?

I'm just pointing out your lies and misinformation, saying Jewish people haven't lived there for 1000 years is simply untrue.

The archeological proof of deep historical Jewish roots to the land is there for everyone to see. Personally I don't give 2 shits about religion. I do care about history and truth though.

So I'll try one more time with you-

Where has someone used a quasi religious trope?
Why do you say the Jewish people haven't lived there for 1000 years when they have?
And what's this fallacy in the Israeli narrative you mention?

So many of the Pro Palestine group need to erase both Jewish existence from "Palestine" and the fact that it predates both Arab and Muslim existence by a very long time.
They also erase the facts of Arab and Muslim colonization East of the Arabian Gulf into and surrounding the areas that they.deem Palestine.

They also erase the fact that Palestine is not an indigenous name of the place and named so by the Romans , replacing the name Judea in an anti Semitic move.

None of them on this site have the chest to just say that they believe that Jews and Israel should not continue to exist in the Mediterranean Middle East...and even if the Palestinians just rocked up yesterday, it is they, not the Jews who have precedence and Dominion over that area.
So in lieu of honesty and truth, they practice Jewish erasure and act as if the Middle East became mostly.Arab and Muslim by offering people candy and not via old fashioned conquest and colonialism and coercion.
Only "Europeans" colonise.
Hence why they " Whitify" Israeli Jews, even as one would be hard pushed to find an Arab who does not tick " White" in the US.

Meanwhile Arabs , like Jews cover most shades and " Middle Eastern" phenotypes and eye colours that exist from pale and red headed to caramel , black haired and dark brown eyed.

And everything in between.

I've also met too many 4B haired Jewish people to count, whose hair will only grow up or sideways, defying gravity unless manipulated by product.
The Leftist Hierarchy Of Oppression is a thing of cognitive dissonance that only carries the swing online or in a mob.
It does not translate well into the real physical world where individuals and books exist.
