The Israeli army are using aid centres as target practice.

The Israeli government is proposing building a 'refugee' centre in Rafah with an extra special feature - no one is allowed to leave.

From Reuters:

“Israel has seized planning and construction powers at a Jewish and Muslim shrine in the occupied West Bank from Palestinian authorities, scrapping parts of an agreement in place since the 1990s, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said on Tuesday.
Under the 1997 Hebron Agreement, Palestinians controlled planning and construction in the entire city, including the Jewish Tomb of the Patriarchs and the adjoining Muslim Ibrahimi Mosque.
Hebron's Old City is recognised as a Palestinian World Heritage site. Hundreds of Jewish settlers live among tens of thousands of Palestinians in parts of the ancient city that are under Israeli security control.
Smotrich, a far-right minister, said he had given the final sign-off late on Monday to the transfer of planning and construction powers as they affected the religious site and nearby Jewish settlers to Israeli authorities.
In a speech marking the establishment of a new Israeli settlement near Hebron, Smotrich said the "historic step" would deepen "Israeli sovereignty" in the West Bank, which Palestinians seek as the heart of a future independent state.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's office called the seizure of powers an "infringement upon the political and legal status of Hebron", and a violation of international law.”

Real estate event organisers 'apologise' for the inclusion of West Bank properties in event literature, but insisted they were not promoted or sold(I'm not sure what they think including them in their brochures is if not promoting them). Apparently it was 'by mistake' that they included multiple properties in the Occupied Territories but they don't actually see anything wrong with them being included because 'we believe it is outrageous that in this day and age, anyone would seek to deny British Jews the right to purchase property anywhere in the world, whether in Paris, New York, or Israel.'

They are still playing victim and crying 'false accusations' saying that no one promoted the properties that they were clearly promoting with the inclusion of them in their brochures.

So all in all a sorry not sorry from them.

A request to a poster to be less aggressive gets a report. Interesting. Echo chambers threads have little interest from the majority when no one is allowed to voice anything the echo chamber disagrees with. A tiny number of posters take part here.

No doubt this will get reported. Hatred won't win you know. People will just leave you to yourselves, guess thats what you really want though.

The main boards are more balanced, take a look.

How was it a mistake if they were running the event.

Clearly it's once again a case of "We're sorry we were found out"

I do wonder why they think

‘anyone would seek to deny British Jews the right to purchase property anywhere in the world, whether in Paris, New York, or Israel’.

mmmm… they clearly forgot This is about stolen land
Interesting how that’s been twisted aswell

Creating that false narrative once again . "British Jews" are not being prevented from buying property. Talk about catastrophising.
Buying land in an illegal settlement is the issue but by framing it as being a victim instead of the perpetrator is ridiculous.

Yeah, I mean it's clearly not a mistake. It's OK though because Yvette Cooper is going to refer the matter urgently to the Advertising Standards Authority. She is really pulling out the big guns there 😕

.Israeli military activity near Lebanon’s Nabatieh continues despite US-Iran MoU

By Heidi Pett for AlJazeera
Reporting from Beirut, Lebanon

There have been a number of deaths across southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Most of those were concentrated in the district of Nabatieh.
Nabatieh is a large city, and the district surrounding it is named after it. Nabatieh is also home to one of the only remaining functional hospitals in southern Lebanon, and the city and the surrounding towns and villages have been the focus of quite intensive Israeli military activity over the last couple of weeks.
Israeli forces are seeking to push towards the city, seizing high ground in and around the area, and that activity hasn’t actually ceased.

Over the course of the last day, there have been drone strikes which killed several people in the town of Mayfadoun and continued Israeli ground activity.

They have not, it seems, withdrawn from any of their positions, despite the assurance that Hezbollah says it has received from Iran that, in fact, an Israeli withdrawal would be part of the final deal between the US and Iran.

’ Israeli forces shoot, wound Palestinian girl in occupied West Bank

Israeli forces and settlers have stormed multiple towns in the occupied West Bank in recent hours, targeting civilians and damaging property, according to the Wafa news agency.

Here are some of the reported incidents:

Al-Mughayyir: A 15-year-old girl was hospitalised and is in stable condition after being shot in the shoulder by Israeli forces, who fired live rounds and gas canisters during an ongoing town raid, which also included access closures.

Salfit: Israeli settlers attacked two vehicles belonging to residents on the road from al-Lubban Asharqiya, shattering their windows with stones.

el-Bireh: Israeli forces raided the city, firing sound bombs, gas canisters, and live ammunition at residents while disrupting local traffic.

Deir Abu Mishal: Israeli forces entered the village northwest of Ramallah while firing live ammunition, though no casualties were reported.

As-Sawahira al-Sharqiya: Israeli forces raided and ransacked multiple family homes east of occupied East Jerusalem, assaulting the residents and confiscating their mobile phones before pulling out.’

Yes.

A very effective way to cripple the country further.

17 June 2026
An Israeli drone strike killed two Palestinian beachgoers and wounded six others in southern Gaza on Wednesday.

According to witnesses, the drone targeted civilians gathered at a seaside recreation area.

The area was crowded with beachgoers and displaced families, many of whom had sought refuge by the sea as their only escape from soaring temperatures and deteriorating living conditions in displacement camps, the witnesses added.

"For the first time since the establishment of the CAAC mandate 30 years ago, Government Forces were the main perpetrators of grave violations against children.

Situations with the highest levels of violations in 2025 were the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Nigeria, Myanmar and Somalia."

Honestly, I thought the Dr was dead about three odd months ago when Israel started their propaganda campaign as trying to smear him as Hamas. So that they could turn around and say, but Hamas, but Hamas. Load of shit. Horrible situation, but he is still alive. Small mercies.

They have every right to comment, question and criticise Israel’s actions and do

just not as much as they should

Ellen2shoes · 19/06/2026 12:40

I am beginning to wonder@smallglassbottle

The schism between our national media v international / SM coverage of Gaza is pretty telling.

The world has watched aghast at a genocide unfolding online, legitimised by a selective narrative of lies aired on national tv.

Meanwhile, the UK government works as hard as it can to close down dissent - a typical UK terrorist profile is now a 50+ white woman carrying a placard condemning genocide.

Not just thousands of pounds misspent arresting pensioners, but an attempt by a judge to even criminalise the barrister and our centuries old jury system undermined to ensure it happens.

It. Is. Insanity.

Can it all really be to facilitate lucrative trade deals?

Reading Arundhati Roy’s words made me wonder about the timeline of the twist: ‘Weapons were once manufactured to fight wars. Now wars are manufactured fo sell. weapons’.

smallglassbottle · 19/06/2026 16:54

Nobody is at liberty to criticise them. If you believe we all have equal freedoms, you're very wrong. The truth is ugly and depressing, but most would rather turn a blind eye.

whoamI00 · 20/06/2026 10:38

Just heartbreaking, but in the face of their resilience, I don't even know if showing sympathy is the right response.

Last Friday

Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon clashed with a senior UN official at a General Assembly event Friday, shouting at her to "be quiet" after she attempted to raise a point of order.

The confrontation erupted during an event marking the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, where Danon directed sharp criticism at Pramila Patten, the secretary-general's special representative on sexual violence in conflict, demanding her resignation for a 2025 report that documented patterns of sexual violence against Palestinians detained in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

As Danon accused Patten of yielding to "the secretary general's obsession with targeting Israel," special representative for children and armed conflict Vanessa Frazier attempted to intervene.

"I'm sorry, but I have to make a point of order," said Frazier.

Danon responded by raising his voice at her.

"No, you be quiet! Because I am speaking now!" he said. "Shame on you. You are part of this obsession."

Frazier pushed back. "This should not be personal ... I want a point of order."

Danon continued, "We will not allow you to bully us. We are a member state, and you work for the UN, and you will be quiet now. You will be quiet, you and your shameful report."

Frazier recently published a report blacklisting Israel's army and security forces for grave violations against Palestinian children.

Her report revealed that children suffered the highest level of grave violations since a mandate was created three decades ago, with government forces responsible for the majority of abuses for the first time.
