The Israeli army are using aid centres as target practice.

The Israeli government is proposing building a 'refugee' centre in Rafah with an extra special feature - no one is allowed to leave.

They can't be stopped by force either, as they won't be afraid to use wmd against those threatening them. The world is powerless. With no one to hold them to account their government is absolutely free to do whatever it wants. No pressure forthcoming from the US either.

Would you describe the current actions of the IDF at the behest of the Israeli government as being unlawful and therefore on a par with terrorism – in that they are terrorising civilians? And given that being true, in your view expressed above, anyone supporting Israel must be a terrorist supporter?

Dr Maynard continued: "What was even more distressing was the pattern of injuries that we saw, the clustering of injuries to particular body parts on certain days.
"One day they'd be coming in predominately with gunshot wounds to the head or the neck, another day to the chest, another day to the abdomen.
"Twelve days ago, four young teenage boys came in, all of whom had been shot in the testicles and deliberately so. This is not coincidental.
"The clustering was far too obvious to be coincidental, and it seemed to us like this was almost like a game of target practice.
"I would never have believed this possible unless I'd witnessed this with my own eyes."

British surgeon claims IDF shooting Gazans in specific areas - 'almost like a game of target practice'

The IDF said it "categorically rejected" claims of "intentional harm to civilians, particularly in the manner described" - after Dr Maynard made the allegations in a Sky News interview with Yalda Hakim.

That's horrifying @Kakeandkake .

Can I ask here what do people think of the air drops of aid. Is it a good idea?. I am conflicted because while I see that any food is good but will desperation cause crush deaths and general chaotic scenes. Also does this not completely contradict the reason why aid was stopped in the first place because now it is being dropped randomly and a survival of the fittest (or those with weapons ie Hamas) will be the ones to get it.

Or is it a way to stop the rumblings from governments and the media.

JaneJeffer · 25/07/2025 20:29

I worry that the starvation has gone too far and that just dropping food will cause more harm than good for the children. They need medical assistance. Check out Dr. Marcella Jewell on instagram.

Martymcfly24 · 25/07/2025 20:36

Thanks for that @JaneJeffer I just looked her up. Very informative. I didn't realize that at this point in starvation food is not enough to "cure" a person so it is medical attention needed.
So dropping parcels of food will not help large groups of people.

Not very effective, there would need to be airdrops every 15 minutes to even tackle the catastrophe.

Cynically most probably ordered by the US and it's just being used to absolve the criticism as none the "it's the UN fault" lies worked. That's evidenced by the fact that It's Jordan and the UAE facilitating it who are very close allies with America.

A lot of Gazans are also at Stage 5 malnutrition which usually requires medical intervention to reintroduce food.

Martymcfly24 · 25/07/2025 20:50

I really agree with that @BelleHathor . I think it will only add to the narrative how could there be a famine when they are dropping food. I also can't understand the practicalities, the population density is so high all the deliveries will be concentrated on a small area. It does all sound like it's being run to stop the criticism.

I would also predict one of these planes will be shot down "by mistake" soon.

I think it IS being run to stop criticism @Martymcfly24.

Sky news went on an air drop today and said they were banned from showing any pictures of Gaza from above. They were told that if they showed any images the air drops would be halted. They really don’t want the world to see what’s really going on there. It was described as miles and miles of grey rubble from above. I would like to see the world’s press inside Gaza. Why is it up to Israel to decide what the world can see? If there’s nothing to worry about, then show us.

I just saw that too.

BelleHathor · 29/07/2025 15:09

I always suspected that Trump’s "Gaza Riviera" plan was a ploy to clear away the evidence. There are still unrecovered remains in the rubble😓.

America knows the truth of the destruction of the people and land. Remember their military has satellites good enough to zoom into small objects from space.

Thankfully other countries also have similar technology and hopefully they're gathering as much evidence as possible to hold all the culprits (especially the one who gave all the guns and bullets) culpable.

Me too. What I find horrifying is that this happens again and again and again with no consequences. It's just allowed to continue.
