The Israeli army are using aid centres as target practice.

The Israeli government is proposing building a 'refugee' centre in Rafah with an extra special feature - no one is allowed to leave.

How is that land then being sold off?

I welcome the sanctions against individual settler terrorists - it’s a start - but there must be a market for the land? If sales are being facilitated in the EU and elsewhere, sanctioning the front line terrorists is a performative measure.

It doesn’t even have to be sold in the traditional sence

Israel set up a land registry platform and they just register the land as Jewish settler land

thus from AlJazeera

Annexation’ by land registry
In May 2025, the Israeli Security Cabinet launched a new, aggressive land settlement process throughout the West Bank, with the aim of “completing the legal and administrative annexation of the occupied territories through fully registering the lands under Israeli authority”, the Jerusalem Governorate said.

Then, in July 2025, Israel’s parliament approved a symbolic measure calling for the annexation of the occupied West Bank. The move was first tabled in 2024 by Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who himself lives in an illegal Israeli settlement.
On February 15, 2026, the permanent acquisition and registration of approximately 58 percent of Area C– the part of the West Bank over which Israel exerts total control – began.

(Al Jazeera)
Under that decision, Palestinian land registration in the Israeli “Tabu” – the land registry extract – began for the first time since the occupation of the West Bank in 1967. It is a final measure that will be difficult to challenge in Israeli courts, the Israel Hayom newspaper reported in February.

Ten maps to understand the occupied West Bank

Since 1967, Israel has occupied the West Bank. Here are 10 maps showing how military control affects Palestinian lives.

But isn’t it being sold elsewhere? I understand that Palestinians would find this impossible to challenge under the new digitalised system by which Israel has appropriated the land under the new laws of their own government, but this is still illegal under international law, so how could it then be sold off internationally?
Sorry if I’m being dense @stirabout

The most trigger happy army strikes again. This time a 7month old baby because the soldiers "perceived"the car was speeding towards them .

But it's ok for little Sam, the incident is under review.

Yes it is being sold elsewhere
Someone posted a while ago about a land sale in NewYork

Being against International law has never stopped Israel before

These sales were raised in Parliament and the answer was no one should be doing anything that's against international law and that was that. Without enforcement though it's all meaningless. As with everything when it comes to Israel governments say one thing but when it comes down to any action they don't anything. Why stop when there is money to made and no consequences for doing it.

Finchley synagogue and St John’s Wood synagogue have hosted them in the past
Sales in the U.K. have been going back at least ten years that I can see in news online

Our Government is complicit

thanks @Martymcfly24 for that. I’ve signed

Needless to say people have been called antisemite for attending demonstrations in NY outside synagogues whilst they sell Palestinian land !
Well wait and see what happens here on the 14th. I think we all know it won’t be shut down.

Yes. Clever to hold them in Synagogues to ensure the demonstrations are easily dismissed as being antisemitic. Depressing to think a place of worship for Jews would host such events. Also depressing is the lack of political will to do anything about them

Although holding them in synagogues suggests the local Jewish population is complicit in Israel’s actions

I don’t understand why they would allow this when antisemitism is on the rise.

This article is from 20 years ago. Apparently Parliament were 'concerned' back then too. Depressing.

and now more bombing by Israel in Lebanon

No intention of stopping
No intention of complying with any form of ceasefire

If people believed the lies used to justify their wars in the past they surely can’t keep believing that

Ben Gvir has stated
“ Tehran must burn “

BBC news report on the attack on Tyre is so heartbreaking

130 medics killed in Lebanon
The main hospital in Tyre severely damaged
Damaged buildings and rubble everywhere

At some point surely the world needs to do more to stop this

I can’t see how this can feasibly be allowed to take place in tandem with these proposed sanctions. It seems ‘violent’ is the operative word - so the footsoldiers are sanctioned but the sales go on. Who pays the frontliners for the dirty work?

Asked by Richard Burgon today, would Russia be allowed to hold sales for stolen Ukranian land?

What will it take?

It’s a spreading bald spot that we are now screaming is there but those in power still pretend it can’t be seen and continue the combovers.

Boolabus · 10/06/2026 08:07

UN inquiry has found that the IDF shield settlers during attacks on Palestinians. So they are not only turning a blind eye to the terror attacks they ae protecting the attackers. This inquiry alone should be enough to put a strop to any sales of stolen lands in London but sadly it won't.

https://moderndiplomacy.eu/2026/06/09/un-inquiry-accuses-israeli-forces-of-enabling-settler-violence-in-west-bank/

UN has reported that Israeli authorities and security forces are directly involved in or enabling settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The report claims that violence by settlers has surged sharply since 2023, with incidents including killings, injuries, displacement, and destruction of Palestinian agricultural land.
According to the inquiry, Israeli security forces have in many cases accompanied settlers during attacks or acted to protect them, contributing to what it describes as a climate of impunity.

Israel rejects the allegations
I mean it has been pretty obvious long before this inquiry

Israeli authorities also dispute claims that settlements violate international law.
Quelle surprise

A United Nations Commission of Inquiry has reported that Israeli authorities and security forces are directly involved in or enabling settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
