I'm an Orthodox Christian. It has just occurred to me that we might lose all of our sacred places in the Holy Land if this hostility by israel continues.

What is the hasbara orchestra?

Its very rare to see people supporting settler violence on MN. Many of us have condemned it. We've also had previous discussions about violence against Palestinian Christians. Many of us have also condemned those who only seem to care about violence against Christians when it is perpetrated by extremist Jews but don't seem to be so vociferous about dreadful anti christian persecution in other parts of the world or conducted by other people.

I also note that supporting Israel and Israelis in their fight against Hamas and all those other extremists determined to destroy them does not equate to supporting Netanyahu's government. Again, somethimg many of us have said many times.

Netanyahu's government appear to want only their own people to live and perhaps even visit Israel. It's becoming a closed country under this regime.

In fact I don't know that I've ever seen that, but I have seen many Israel supporters such as myself & others condemn settler violence.

Most Israel supporters just want Hamas out of Gaza and the hostages back.

I have heard once that the Palestinian Christians are the wrong sort of Christian. Not evangelical findamentalists. And by using their own vernacular, they refer to God as Allah. Some people find that difficult.
I pray for all of the Palestinians every night. Christian, Muslim, Jew, and atheist. And the appalling settlers who, a lot coming from the US, don't need to steal land.

And there's the problem, very few supporters of Israel want a two state solution. And until a Palestinian state is created, this cycle of barbaric violence will continue.
Open your eyes, this conflict that has been brewing over the last 130 years is far more than just "Hostages and Hamas".
