It's been going on for a few years now in Jerusalem, churches, businesses. There's been coverage by the BBC and other media. They are extremists apparently.

Shocking disgusting behavior. Especially when you think of the late Pope calling the parish church in Gaza every night such was the link with Christianity and the area.
I wonder will this change the mindset of fundamental Christians in the US who are very pro Israel.

The attack is wrong but surely the point of then post was to try and undermine support for Israel and Christians are a very small minority amongst Palestinians and within the West bank and as a have more to worry about with Islamist oppressio.

The reality is that Israel is backed by a strongly Christian country, the US so I really do not see some agenda against Christians. Also the narrative of bad Jews attacking good Christians was a narrative used to pretty horrible effect by a certain German party in the past........

This is disgusting and offensive towards those Christians who are under attack from both islamists and israelis across the region. I am a Christian and I have legitimate concerns regarding this problem and to compare this to what happened in Germany with a 'certain party' is a far reach indeed.

I was dismayed to read this comment too. You have legitimate concerns that should not be dismissed because of who the perpetrators are.

Please can you demonstrate at which point in this thread you understood the point to be about undermining support for Isreal?

Personally I can't see anything that would support your statement. The OP, as a Christian is understandably upset for their fellow Christians and was highlighting the issue. As a Christian myself I share in the horror. But I'm also concerned about innocent Jewish and Islamic people caught up in it all. My heart hurts for them all.

And some Jewish people are still attacking Christians nearly 90 years later… hence the post.

Apparently they've been targeting churches from day one. Positioning snipers outside them to shoot people as they leave.

I’m a Palestinian Christian. It is not
Christianophobia ( nor Islamophobia as many predominantly Muslim villages and towns are being destroyed). It is simply ‘Palestinophobia’. It is the pure fact that we exist and have existed on that land that frightens them.
