This is just unbelievable. These ‘protesters’ are being given free rein to threaten and assault pro-Israelis (Jewish) because ‘there’s 500 of them and 2 of you’.

Police not interested in doing their job, which is upholding the law I thought?

Just sickening that this country has come to this.

Interesting. What is your definition of terrorism in the UK?

I never thought to define it, I am not a state. However, protesting your government’s war crime assistance is not it.

Well as long as everything is okay in your own backyard I’m sure you’ll be fine. And no comment on attempting to make out I said things I haven’t?

And I actually have ties to both and to all. Because I am a human being and have the ability to call out injustice regardless of my own sense of identity.

Sure there’s awful things going on. Ukraine, Sudan countless others. All those poor people made to fight or attacked. I still care about people here. All of our society. Including Jewish people in the U.K.

And not just that I don’t support any terrorism and disagree with the positioning of proscription as wrong.

But you support Israel and Netanyahu wanted for war crimes? (As is Hamas ofc). ???

I think you’ve mixed me up with another poster. I haven’t posted support for BN

PhilomenaPunk · 25/06/2025 13:50

Whose plight have you marched for? Please do share if you think another group needs more support than they are currently getting. And I won’t speak for anybody else but there are a lot of humanitarian issues that I actively support, the plight of the Palestinian people being one of them.

Absolutely.
I marched way back when the gulf war started. Didn’t do shit then, just like Palestine marches now.
I have been on numerous women’s rights demonstrations.
So there are many causes that need highlighting
Burkina Faso
Ukraine
Myanmar
Sudan
Women’s rights, let’s keep it basic and say Islamic ruled nations and the trans movement (meaning the men who seem to only want to moan about being misgendered)
I don’t have capacity to put one country’s suffering above another.

Apologies - I took from your points that you supported the Israeli governments policies.

Have you been to a Britain First march to ask their opinion?
I know that while Hamas are in charge, Gaza citizens won’t get western support.
I know Iran has plotted terror attacks this year in England.
Tell me which gaps in understanding am I missing?

veiledsentiments · 25/06/2025 14:11

Twiglets1 · 25/06/2025 12:20

Same.

And you don’t think “death cult” is emotive language?? Sheesh. Last time I will apologise to you.

Iscumaliom · 25/06/2025 14:12

EasternStandard · 25/06/2025 13:50

I don’t see why you’d position yourself as less tribalistic than others posting tbf

I have no ties to either but I do care about people here who feel unsafe. That’s not good, plus the terrorism is unwelcome.

You sound committed which is fine. Quite a few people are. However that doesn’t mean it’s always perceived as intended or supported.

So you agree that 2 Israelis plonking themselves in the middle of a pro Palestine march and attempting to wave the flag of the country who are calling for the ethnic cleansing of the relatives of people there is wrong? They deserve to feel safe too and people yelling 'fuck you' as poster here saw while waving the Israeli flag at them is obviously going to be very intimidating.

Well done to the police for moving them on.

Gaza didn’t have western support before hamas.
The UK’s successive governments are happy with the ruining the system of international laws. A day will come when we as a medium country would want to rely on the international laws as our protection, but it might be too late.

No why would I agree to that?

People who protest are accountable for their own actions including not assaulting someone else.

Pro Palestinian protestors thinking it’s ok to do this are off putting to others. It’s really not the way to go if you want support.

Messycoo · 25/06/2025 14:17

Yes it’s shit, from Met P point of view it’s would be easier to control 2 individuals, rather then 500!

Death cult is not a term you will ever see me using myself. I call them Hamas or terrorists.

I was more saying "Same" in relation to this part of the other person's comment, I'm not Jewish but have absolute solidarity with Israel for defending themselves

But your post DIDN’T say that at all. Your post said that you felt the same about Israel’s right to protect itself against a death cult. Your post said should really be careful that you practice what you preach, or people will come after you. But hey, no worries eh? All a big misunderstanding.

You said that you care about people who feel unsafe? Surely you can see how that situation would lead to people feeling unsafe. If someone was supporting the killers of my parents or siblings and shouting fuck you at me while waving the flag under which the killing is happening I would find that very intimidating and feel unsafe, wouldn't you?

RoseRR · 25/06/2025 14:23

You lost me at the word DEFENSE in reference to Israel’s massacre in Gaza.

Me too. It’s not right anyone is suffering persecution or violence.
I was completely on board with people who are pro Palestine prior to 7/10.
I would say that I still am. But while some supporters refuse to accept Hamas is the problem, I feel the movement is now just an opportunity to be antisemitic.

If the answer from pro Palestine protestors is to assault them then it is they who are the thugs - and people will view them as such.

So you don’t think UK terror victims and their families?
You don’t think the brand Pro Palestine has evolved into would intimidate someone who lost their kid to a terrorist? Thinking Ariana concert here.

I think if you have some knowledge about the conflict which spans decades, then you wouldn’t say thing like “Hamas is the problem”. There is no one problem in this conflict.

So you would support someone turning up to a vigil for the hostages where grieving relatives may be and shout fuck you repeatedly at them, the police should leave that be? You would only have an issue if the grieving families reacted to that in a violent way?
