This is just unbelievable. These ‘protesters’ are being given free rein to threaten and assault pro-Israelis (Jewish) because ‘there’s 500 of them and 2 of you’.

Police not interested in doing their job, which is upholding the law I thought?

Just sickening that this country has come to this.

And another video.

‘Zionist scum’ being chanted at apparently Jewish people with cries for Israel’s annihilation in the background.

I don't really understand why someone who is 'pro Israeli' as you say wants to join in a pro Palestine march? I wonder what made these young men with their cameras out want to go and wave their Israeli flag there rather than literally anywhere else? Is there not enough people for them to make their own march?

Seriously? Sp you think they should be at risk of assault or even death for protesting with their own flag at a a ‘protest’ calling for the annihilation of their country?

Wow.

Wow.

Can you not answer my questions? Why do you think these young men decided to pick there rather than like I said literally anywhere else to bring their Israeli flag and their cameras? Do you think that just maybe the cops had the measure of them and knew exactly why they chose that particular place to fly the flag of a country calling for the ethnic cleansing of the relatives of people at that march?

PickyBits · 24/06/2025 23:45

So everyone on these ‘protests’ are relatives of Palestinians?

So it’s ok for these people to call for the annihilation of Israel but not for Jewish people to protest that they are calling for that?

Do you think it is acceptable for them to be assaulted and for even the police to be concerned they may be killed on the streets of London, and to be threatened with arrest?

I thought these were peaceful protests?

They were. Until a group stepped literally into the centre of a March protesting genocide and unfurled a symbol of the genocide in the path of the people on the protest. It was a deliberate provocation and inflammatory action. It was an obvious attempt to change the dialogue about starving a civilian population

Who said everyone there were relatives? No doubt some people there are though and I don't understand why anyone would think it was appropriate to pop along with the flag that represents the country who have open about their wish to ethnically cleanse them. Why do you think they chose to do that you still haven't said?

I don’t care why they chose to be there. What does it matter? This a free country, are you saying Jewish people shouldn’t be on public streets?

Why would you think I know them? They have just as much right to fly their country’s flag as all those who were, more likely, flying someone else’s country’s flag.

Do you think that the pro-Palestinian mob have a right to freedom of expression by calling for the destruction of a country, calling their people scum and assaulting and threatening people of that country but the people of that country don’t have a right to fly their flag in protest of this? Then get treated like shit by the police and threatened with arrest?

What a totally fucked up argument.

This is the UK. If he wants to go and fly his flag then he can.

Hi @PickyBits I thought this was in the UK ? How can Israel be their country? Are they Israelis temporarily in the UK or are they british, in which case Israel is not their country. confusing to say the least.

Either way, abuse is never ever ok. That needs saying.

Oh come on! They did it to cause trouble and you know it. They should have been arrested.

quantumbutterfly · 25/06/2025 05:09

Like the ones a few years back, before 7/10, driving through London calling for the rape of jews...oh hang on.

On these 'peace' marches you never see any calls to free the Israeli hostages or any condemnation of hamas actions on 7/10, quite the opposite in fact. Do they really want peace, or the destruction of Israel?

Lot of hate speech on this thread, I don't expect it to last.

nomoretreats · 25/06/2025 05:52

They deliberately went to the march to get a reaction. Think the met have issued a statement. Plenty of Jewish people go to these marches and walk with those supporting the Palestine cause. But to go with an Israel flag was ridiculous and you know it. You just are looking for pity comments how the world is against Jewish people when it isn’t.

Why don’t they walk with their flags to an EDL march and see how they get on?

notimagain · 25/06/2025 06:23

I suppose if people on marches are finding flags so triggering maybe it's time to bag all such flags and maybe even the matches themselves.
