European Commission President days Iran shouldn't have nuclear weapons. Israel has right to defend itself

"European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said she told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday that diplomacy was ultimately best on Iran, but stopped short of calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Von der Leyen said that she agreed with Netanyahu in a telephone call that "Iran should not have a nuclear weapon, without any question."

Von der Leyen has previously criticised Israel's actions in Gaza, but said that Iran's non-compliance with the UN nuclear watchdog meant Israel "has the right to defend itself".

"Iran is the principal source of regional instability," she added."

i wish freedom, peace and prosperity to all Iranians (all earthlings, actually).
It is for Iranians to determine how they live, not for Israelis and Americans.

I guess they don’t want a war with the USA (who does?), so they will keep following them.

Narges Mohammadi was on the news and saying Israel is bombing civilian areas. She also said that although many do hate the regime, they equally hate Israel right now, that the people of Iran don't deserve this and they want Israel to stop.

I respect her opinion above any posters on here.

She's a clearly highly intelligent and accomplished woman. Obviously you can disagree with her on certain matters but to have no respect for her at all? In her position? Very bizarre.

It could all be over soon if some are to be believed, or Israel has just saved us all from nuclear threat. Who knows.

But arguing online is the most pointless thing.

I'm hoping that all the posts are actually from badly programmed bots as the thought that people sit glued to their screens to argue with strangers about things they have zero influence on is quite sad.
