Heartbreaking news report from Gaza - Dr receives bodies of her children

Many of you will already have read about this. Paediatric specialist Dr Alaa al-Najjar was on duty when the bodies of nine of her 10 children were received by her in the hospital, after a strike in Khan Younis hit her home.

This report just stopped me in my tracks. I don't know what to say beyond this. I cannot stop thinking about this poor woman tonight.

This is the story posted earlier. I was commenting on this post after reading the link.in this story. I used quotes from this piece. They show some inaccurate pictures and AI generated images shared on social media.

Commenting on a link posted earlier, leads to the usual... are you denying children died, my answer is NO, are you saying...etc etc. No, I am commenting on an article shared about some fake images shown, (not all images from all sites (surely that much is obvious for the people at the back waiting to jump).

It's painful on here. Having to carefully explain every single comment, so that people who want to purposely misinterpret everything , understand.

I was only asking who John was you keep referring to a person called Honest John but I was wondering who it was because there was no John in the article it's Honest Reporting. Is it a nickname for those in the know and believe this.

It's the article I was referring to. No idea where John came from. Now I understand why you couldn't find it. I was unaware of the nickname and thought it was Honest John. My mistake.

That was the article I was commenting on. I was quoting the fake pictures etc. I never said all images from all sites were fake as someone assumed.

The Honest Reporting website was set up specifically to expose false information and anti- Israel propaganda.

Where has it ever been shown to be wrong?

Can you go through the website and point out the lies?

I was commenting on this article showing fake images about the doctor. I commented on this use of fake images etc that helps no one at all.

Unfortunately, few read the link and so jumped on my commenting with various assumptions.

This is just rubbish and another form of deflecting that we see so often by a select few posters on these threads.

Israel bombed the home of this doctor killing her nine children with many of them burnt extremely badly.

There is an uproar over this on main stream media so now some people are trying desperately to deflect and blame everyone and everything else except for Israel who dropped the bombs and killed the children.

Isn't it just.

Do you remember the thread another lovely poster put up about the Palestinian film maker killed and it was derailed with the same crap . Op pulled it then because they were upset by the deflections.

Because if we are talking about their drivel we aren't talking about a woman who lost 9 of her babies.

Wearing a niqab which is a face covering does NOT symbolise extremist practicing of Islam. The ignorance is astounding. Would you believe if I told you I know teachers who cover their faces with the niqab who work in this country? Very good teachers too. They just don't wear it whilst at work. And NO the entire area had not evacuated. Why are you spreading lies?

4/5 of Gaza has been declared an evacuation zone and many have not evacuated at a moments notice because they have nowhere to go. Your constant attempts to put blame on the parents for the deaths of their children is terrible and dehumanising and on display for all to see.

Posters should listen to Dr Ali, uncle of the children who has just taken part in an in-depth interview with Joe Duffy on RTE Liveline radio programme. His sister asks only 2 things, the return of the last 2 bodies of her children who are buried under the rubble rotting so they can be buried with their siblings and prayers for her family. Her brother, who is a doctor in Sligo for years, has condemned the taking of civilian hostages and called for an end to violence. He does not condemn the Jewish people and calls for a peaceful solution. He has condemned the targeting of children , elderly and healthcare workers, vital infrastructure such as health facilities and water plants.

In a searing address to the UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East and Gaza, American trauma surgeon Dr. Feroze Sidhwa delivered a first-hand account of Gaza's collapsing healthcare system, drawing from his two medical missions to Khan Younis. "I am not here as a policymaker, but as a physician bearing witness to the deliberate destruction of healthcare, the targeting of my colleagues, and the erasure of a people," he stated, describing surgeries performed on filthy floors without anaesthesia and children dying from preventable causes due to Israel's blockade of medical supplies. With haunting detail, he recounted treating pregnant women "whose pelvises had been obliterated and their foetuses cut in two," and revealed that 83% of American medics in Gaza reported seeing children shot in the head or chest. "This is not system failure - it has been systematically dismantled through violations of international law," he emphasised, condemning the man-made famine now killing more civilians than bombs. His testimony peaked with the March 18 mass casualty event at Nasser Hospital, where 221 trauma patients arrived in one morning - 90 dead on arrival, nearly half children - an onslaught no besieged health system could withstand. "Parents memorise their children's clothing to identify remains," he said, exposing the war's psychological toll: nearly half of Gaza's children are now suicidal, asking, "Why didn't I die with my family?" Dr. Sidhwa implored the Council to enforce seven measures, including an arms embargo, calling their inaction "a testament to collapsed conscience" as Gaza's last doctors and a generation of Palestinians face annihilation. "You cannot claim ignorance," he concluded, "when children no longer want to live.

He approaches the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a secular American and as a humanitarian physician.

Why are they targeting children and pregnant women?

They are not. What gives you the right to throw such accusations around while screaming bloody blue murder if somebody claims that some of the Palestinians involved may be not innocent (I am not referring to the children). Stop 🛑

The Drs treating patients in the hospitals are reporting that. That’s the evidence. They are seeing mainly children and women. Sniped.

Not caught in cross-fire but targeted.

Children being shot in the head and chest stood out to me here. How can so many be shot if purely in accidental cross fire? If true it sounds like they have been wilfully targeted or injured through a callous machine gunning of anyone within range?

83% of US medics have encountered kids shot in the head and the chest. there are countless accounts from international medics where they said that the dead children were hit in the heart and the head - witnesses said that it was Israeli snipers - how is it these well trained snipers hit them precisely in the heart and the head by accident. An Irish surgeon who recently returned to Ireland talked about a family that was annihilated by fire from an apache helicopter - again precise shots on children. No one accidentally shoots that many kids.
