When even The Telegraph, for heaven’s sake, publishes an article like this from a respected surgeon and professor, you can be certain Israel is doing exactly what many of us already know and likely worse. Those who’ve closed their eyes or hardened their hearts should take a moment to reflect. I seriously can't beleive what I am reading and why would an ally of us would do this. Utterly inhuman even Putin has more humanity and I don't say that lightly.

The picture of that poor baby. It’s absolutely heartbreaking what is happening.

It is and when you have lost the Telegraph who isn't known for not punting agressively Israel's POV it is truly damning indeed. It's a seeming outlier in their output though Stephen Pollard, Jake Wallis-Simpson and Danny Cohen will be along shortly shouting look over there.

I don’t know why they are not sending drones with aid.

28 children a day in Gaza killed throughout this conflict. Every single day. By accident, apparently!

28 children a day in Gaza killed throughout this conflict. Every single day. By accident, apparently!

It's utterly shocking. A classroom of children dead every single day and the same again injured every single day.

When a classmate of my son died recently the whole community was so upset, it was one of the biggest funerals I have ever seen, the children all had access to counselling through the school to help them process what had happened, they had an assembly to honour her. It was a really, really upsetting experience for everyone. I cannot imagine that 28 times over every single day for almost 2 years. The scale of such loss, the grief, it is unimaginable. I have no idea how you even being to process that, nevermind processing it whilst starving and fearing for your life.

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 18/07/2025 22:13

Anyone defending it these days must be nasty themselves. It’s utterly disgusting.

Yes but remember Hamas would have been hiding in their food bowls using them as a human shield. Because you need a human shield when you queue for food aid 🙄

This is nearly a daily event at what point is GHF or anyone going to say enough is enough.

The EU is completely complicit in this. I am disgusted at them. Their aid deal a couple of days ago is not worth the paper it is written on because they are not on the ground to monitor it and Israel will not engage with the UN.

Using teenage boys for target practice whilst trying to find food.

“Teenagers being shot by Israeli soldiers.”
Nick Maynard is a British gastrointestinal surgeon, who is currently in Gaza, working at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
We began by asking him what he can tell us about the shootings near the aid distribution sites this morning.

I wouldn't expect anything less from the most immoral army in the world.

Worse than Hamas? Have you forgotten the October horrors already?

Funnily enough the genocide of a nation can cause one day of horror to slip from one's mind.

What Israel is doing is worse than October 7th. And the genocide didn’t even start from then. It’s been going on for decades. Israel also contributed to at least 1/2 the deaths of Israelis in that day too. You need to stop forgetting that.

How did Israel contribute to “at least 1/2 the deaths of Israelis in that day too”?

2 days..and several suicides since. They found it harder to forget.

No. We remember. That’s how we can compare that what Israel are doing is worse. 50.000 deaths is far worse than 1200. Do the maths.

Possibly by not mobilising their defence force to defended their people for hours while it was happening? You remember that bit? The IDF not turning up for hours? That contributed to more deaths of Israelis.

That was not a deliberate act unlike 7/10 attack which was long planned.

I’m sure because I’m sure everyone present or touched in any way was utterly traumatised. And right now in Gaza, almost half of children want to die because of their trauma. Neither sides suffering can erase the other

You are continually trying to use Oct 7th attacks to shut down any mention of Palestinian suffering. You’re literally using the pain of the attacks as a weapon now.

It’s entirely possible to fully condemn the Hamas attack and be empathetic to everyone involved without using it to justify what’s happening now. A whole classroom of children killed every day and you have nothing to say about it.

That’s Irrelevant anyway but how do you know it wasn’t deliberate? How do you know collateral damage was not allowed in order to justify going in to Gaza?

I don’t agree it is irrelevant and I trust that the Israel government have a high regard for their citizens lives unlike Hamas who don’t.

Hamas use hospitals as bases. Recently one brave doctor in Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis spoke up against Hamas doing this.

if people genuinely cared about gazans they would speak up against Hamas instead of all this anti Israel hate.

Give it a rest would you? Israel get away with committing genocide in front of our eyes because of people like you, mouthpieces for Israeli propaganda that asks us to ignore what we SEE and believe everything they say.

Tens of thousands of children dead and you’re blaming Gazans for their own deaths? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Whatsinanamehey · 20/07/2025 14:19

More aid seekers have been reportedly killed today by IDF fire.

Meanwhile World Central Kitchen are having to halt their kitchen hot meal distributions as they have ran out of supplies and their aid trucks are still stuck at the border.

Such high regard that the most advanced army on the planet sat back doing nothing for hours while over a thousand of their own citizens were murmured, raped and abducted. Bizarre logic. Do you trust they would have looked after you that day?
