The “Zionist entity” isn’t all of Israel. Explain then, how a charter calling for the 1967 borders between two states of Israel and Palestine is calling for one state?

No? What part of Israel is it then? Is Israel only partly 'zionist'? Which part?

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/04/2025 14:25

PollyPaintsFlowers · 20/04/2025 14:22

ahem

“Hamas’s new March 2025 fatality list quietly drops 3,400 fully “identified” deaths listed in its August and October 2024 reports – including 1,080 children. These “deaths” never happened. The numbers were falsified – again,” Mr Aizenberg wrote.

He is incorrect. Fully identified deaths are where a body has been matched to an identity- name of a person. Dropping some names doesn’t mean numbers or deaths were “falsified”. It merely means some bodies were not correctly identified. The bodies/deaths still happened.

Zionist entity refers to the political parties in power that are ultranationalist and intent on ethnically cleansing Palestinians from their lands. ‘Entity” always refers to a group of people, not land or territory,

@Mylegishangingoff oh and 'millions and millions of people' have not been polled, that's just hyperbole

And yet you know with 100% certainty that the millions of people who protested for peace up until you decided to do the same were all proHamas hate marchers and don’t count as really supporting Palestinians like you do.

PollyPaintsFlowers · 20/04/2025 14:31

@SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaicethis is from Hamas' 2017 charter claiming all of Israel is Palestine. It doesn't recognise Israel at all. That is what one state from the river to the sea means

Also this

The Palestinian political system:
27. A real state of Palestine is a state that has been liberated. There is no alternative to a fully sovereign Palestinian State on the entire national Palestinian soil, with Jerusalem as its capital

Hamas doesn't recognise Israel within any borders

This is the reality of what Israel is doing (part 6)
SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/04/2025 14:32

No, Hamas figures only say the number of people killed, they do not claim they are 100% civilians. Read any report by any agency and it says “Hamas do not distinguish between combatants and civilians”

This means they just say #s killed. They don’t say # civilians killed.

Just like the Oct 7th death toll says # killed and doesn’t break down the #s that were IDF vs the #s that were civilians.

No, the deaths didn't happen. It's exactly as it said, try reading the actual article.

They made the figures up. As in the case of one guy who was listed as a casualty then two months later was listed in hospital records as receiving cancer treatment 😂

Article 20 defines the borders:
”However, without compromising its rejection of the Zionist entity and without relinquishing any Palestinian rights, Hamas considers the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital along the lines of the 4th of June 1967, with the return of the refugees and the displaced to their homes from which they were expelled, to be a formula of national consensus”

see: https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/hamas-2017-document-full.
So Israel still exists, they just refuse to acknowledge a Zionist government for as long as it rules Israel.

I read the article, it is bollocks written by a propagandist that has no idea as to how the forensic id process works.

The contortions all seem to be on your side. You can’t even get right what Hamas charter really says. You haven’t seen the antiHamas signs that are at every peace march. You don’t know the difference between an unidentified dead body and an identified dead body because you think that correcting the identity of a dead body somehow magics away a body every time they get the identity wrong.

It’s basic procedure, if you’d followed how the Oct 7th victims were identified, which even included some misidentifications of victims for dead Hamas attackers, you’d have enough knowledge to not fall for that article’s obvious inflammatory fake news.

I've seen anti-hamas banners but they were all held by counter-protestors, not by hate marchers. In fact the hate marchers screamed abuse and did throat cutting gestures at the counter-protestors, some as they were passing while others hung back to continually harass and threaten the counter-protestors. I guess they weren't happy seeing banners calling out Hamas for being terrorists. The counter-protestors needed police protection in the form of a human barrier against the hate marchers.

If you've seen any hate marchers with anti-hamas banners I'd love to see the footage

Yes, yes all the millions of peace protesters across the globe did this right in front of you, you saw them all. Or maybe you’re a teensy weensy bit prejudiced to tar everyone with the same brush, why else would you go to such extreme efforts to say you are for peace but you’re not like other peace protesters who are all hate marchers.

What were the counter-protesters countering?

A few apparently like beating up female Jewish Pro-Palestinian peace protesters…

”A Jewish woman marching in support of justice for Palestinians and a ceasefire in Gaza was pushed into the pro-Israel counter protesters by a Met police officer. There she met with violence and abuse.”

”UK – On 18 May 2024, as a result of Police actions, a Jewish activist named Jessica L was assaulted by counter-protesters when she attended the pro-Palestine ‘National March for Ceasefire’ at Piccadilly Circus, London, wearing a Kippah and t-shirt with “Jews Say Ceasefire Now”.

”Counter-protesters had gathered holding Israel flags and placards with inflammatory slogans. When Jessica passed by this area on the march path, they became visibly and audibly hostile to her, shouting derogatory, misogynistic, Islamophobic and antisemitic abuse. Jessica was subjected to specific slurs such as “Kapo” and accusations of being a self-hating Jew—terms uniquely weaponized against Jewish supporters of Palestinian liberation. She also received explicit threats of violence and sexual assault.
A Met Police Liaison Officer identified Jessica as Jewish based on her attire, forcibly removed her from the main protest, and then pushed her towards the counter-protestors as he shouted at her to “get back over there”. The counter-protestors proceeded to reach across the barriers, pulled Jessica towards them by the hair, attempted to remove her kippah, struck her, spat on her, and they continued to shout misogynistic and antisemitic abuse at her.
Jessica shouted for help, but police officers failed to intervene. Eventually, she freed herself with the help of Palestine Solidarity Campaign demonstration stewards and rejoined the Ceasefire demonstration. A police officer then communicated that they wanted Jessica to leave the demonstration due to the amount of hatred and hostility she was receiving from the counter-protesters. Jessica sought to report the assault to police officers, but she was told to report it online. When she then went to make a report at a station, she was refused an in-person meeting with a supervising officer.”
