@VolcanoJapan I completely agree that Hamas as an organisation presents no future for Gaza. I disagree that that majority of people on the marches in London support Hamas, they support the Palestinian people. Can you imagine what it would be like to oppose them in Gaza? They are the only show in town at the moment.

What happened when that man on the march had a banner Hamas= terrorists? He was attacked by other marchers.

More people celebrating:

This is beyond shocking. It's children, crowds and crowds of children, brainwashed to cheer over dead babies.

A crowd of children dancing on the stage where the coffins had been.
If you look at the faces of the adults, some of them are grinning, others look indifferent, as if waiting for a football match to start or something.
What’s going on in their minds?

The Grand Mufti of Dubai has now commented too, saying:
‘Hamas has brought shame to Islam on a level never seen before.’

I've been trying to find these comments from the Grand Muftis - please could you link? Thank you

I'm just being honest. Those sad coffins today did make me think of all the little children caught up in this conflict. As I'm sure they did for many.

The 3000 I mentioned before is just for those under 5. I think the total number of children is 18,000.

I'm sorry that that is a horrifying fact to confront.

Seriously you compare war to the deliberate kidnapping, torture and
killing of babies.
playing right into Hamas hands- bravo!

ParsnipPuree · 20/02/2025 19:25

Oct 7th was about killing Jews. This evil cult will one day be coming soon for anyone who doesn't follow it and the sooner the world realises that the better.

The behaviour of some on the marches makes me think they will be welcomed with open arms.

Onlyfools, and what if the Biba children were killed in an air strike, presumably by that logic there deaths are ok?

ArtTheClown · 20/02/2025 19:34

I saw a quote today, saying blaming Israeli airstrikes for the deaths of the Bibas children is like blaming typhus for the death of Anne Frank.

headstone · 20/02/2025 19:37

ArtTheClown why is it ok for Palestinian babies to die in air strikes and not Israeli babies? Israel had a choice they didn’t have to pound the Gaza Strip with bombs not made for densely populated areas.

Hamas had the choice not to attack on October 7th.

I agree. It was unforgivable for Hamas to do what they did, and then hide in densely populated civilian areas to launch their rocket attacks, putting the civilian population in the firing line.
But that is for another thread.

No doubt we’ll be rolling out the red carpet for them very soon. No idea what it will take for people to wake up.

ParsnipPuree · 20/02/2025 20:33

There are useful idiots on the marches who don't take much to brainwash but the true terrorist supporters are already in many countries, and multiplying fast. A few plainly on MN too.

It is not the same thing! We could sit here and feel awful for every civilian in every conflict. People died in WW2 in London from bombing- it is not the same as dying in a concentration camp, because someone rounded you up because of your race and tortured you!!!

How many Israeli babies would die if it wasn’t for the dome

We should feel awful for every civilian caught up in any conflict - particularly the very vulnerable, mothers, children and the elderly. My heart is broken for Shiri, Ariel and Kfir and Oded but it was also broken for Hind.

This is such a dark day, but dismissing the suffering of others - particularly children - is shameful.

💔

ArtTheClown · 20/02/2025 21:48

Today of all days, there was an attempted major terrorist attack in Tel Aviv. Several buses was blown up, and the only reason there were no casualties is that the terrorists accidentally set the time to 9pm not 9am.

That’s a fair comparison.

I think it's shameful that Gazan children's own parents and government don't care for their safety. They don't care for their own children's safety! Can you image it? Hamas didn't happen by accident. People voted for them knowing their rationale was to provoke a stronger country into attacking them.

ArtTheClown · 20/02/2025 23:22

Another update: The adult body returned today has been reported to be not that of Shiri Bibas.
More mind games from Hamas then. More unspeakable suffering for her husband and sister. Her parents are spared, though, seeing as Hamas already murdered them.
