That’s a great idea. I think it can be a good approach to choose one small charity that people can really connect with. It can make it feel less overwhelming and also more humanised. You can form personal connections with the people you are helping.
For instance, there is an amazing charity based in the Bethlehem (West Bank) refugee camp Aida, that supports disabled children and their carers through selling handicrafts made by the women and also through cookery workshops.
