How is this being allowed to happen? How are the IDF getting away with the genocide and ethnic cleansing? In particular in the north of Gaza. They have bombed countless schools and hospitals and it is still happening!

From sky news
Gaza hospital 'raided' by Israeli military
Israel's military launched raided a hospital in north Gaza last night, Palestinian officials said.
Troops stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital and stationed forces outside it, according to medics.
Eid Sabbah, the hospital's nursing director, told the Reuters news agency that Israeli tanks opened fire on the hospital upon their arrival.
The hospital's oxygen stores were hit, he added, before troops raided the building and ordered staff and patients to leave.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military or World Health Organisation on the raid.

The world is allowing it, God knows why?! It's a genocide and there is ethnic cleansing going on too. We all know it's a war crime to target residential buildings, schools, universities, hospitals, health care workers, aid workers etc... Except when Israel do this - oh no that's just "self defence"!! Different rules for Israel for some reason 🤔
And when there are no Palestinians left alive, Israel will say "well it's a shame but we just had to make sure we killed all the terrorists" Then they will happily move their settlers in and build lovely homes and facilities for them.

Because Hamas use such civilian buildings as cover for their terrorist operations with no regard for the consequences, as they have done for decades.

Perhaps dig deeper using legitimate sources rather than responding to the latest social media headline….

Chowtime · 25/10/2024 13:39

Is it really a hospital though? Or a hamas HQ?

I can’t believe people are still falling for this and justifying the actions of the IDF

So "because Hamas" justifies the total destruction of Gaza and the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent civilians (mostly women and children)? I'm sick of hearing excuses like yours! Personally I believe if there's a terrorist hiding in a hospital that doesn't give anyone the right to attack that hospital killing patients and staff. Same if there's a couple of terrorists hiding in a school. You might think all these deaths are perfectly justifiable, but that probably says a lot about you.

Well there's loads of evidence that it's a hospital, haven't seen any to suggest it's Hamas HQ

It's quite convenient for the IDF 'discovering' Hamas HQ in all hospitals, schools, refugee camps, safe zones etc etc so they can bomb them all whilst not giving a second thought to all the innocents that they will also blow up. And some sick people will still defend this.

I posted from Sky news. Is that not a legitimate source?

Israel could be convicted of committing crimes against humanity in Northern Gaza and people are supporting it. Why won't they let journalists in? So they can't document their war crimes.

A lot of posters saying they are fed up of “because Hamas” but instead of being fed up of them they are still blindly blaming the IDF instead of seeing it for what it is.

It doesn't matter where they are hiding that isn't a valid reason to kill civilians

Sky News.

Perhaps if you read or listened to the actual headlines rather than your own prejudice.....

Well, if the IDF chooses to fire on hospital buildings and schools, they should probably be prepared for some less than entirely positive feedback about it.

If they have actual evidence to justify such actions, perhaps they should explain that and allow independent scrutiny and reporting - at this point, too many false accusations and fabrications mean statements of "but Hamas are there" lack credibility.

Whatsinanamehey · 25/10/2024 15:13

Even if a Hamas member was in a hospital what sort of monsters fire at an oxygen tank that is life saving equipment for babies in the ICU? What levels of depravity will IDF loyalists continue to support?

Yes, when Israel have decided that no international observers are allowed in then we have to question what is it they are hiding? Notice also how they have tried to demand UN forces observing in Lebanon must leave, and have tried intimidation tactics on them.

What people are fed up with is "justifications" for a genocide, there is no justification.

If someone wants to attack a hospital, they should be able to defend that decision and have their decision-making hold up to scrutiny. And if someone has a track record of lying, they should expect people to ask for proof rather than taking their word for something. It's pretty simple.

@Scirocco should be applauded for their compassion, patience, integrity, balance and humanity. If those things are simple they also things we might all to aspire to.

I don't understand how you think people are 'blindly blaming' the IDF? We've listened to what Israel have to say, below are some quotes as examples but there are many more. I think the intentions are quite clear? What is so 'blind' about listening to Israeli representatives? Are supposed think that it's just a coincidence that their actions match their words?

“We are now rolling out the Gaza Nakba,” Israeli security cabinet member and Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter declared. “Gaza Nakba 2023. That’s how it’ll end.”

Deputy Knesset speaker Nissim Vaturi from the ruling Likud party wrote on X, that Israelis had one common goal, “erasing the Gaza Strip from the face of the earth.”

“We will eliminate everything - they will regret it,” Israel’s Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant said.

Amit Halevi, a Likud member in parliament, said, “There should be two goals for this victory: One, there is no more Muslim land in the land of Israel … After we make it the land of Israel, Gaza should be left as a monument, like Sodom”.

Ariel Kallner, a member of Israel’s parliament, said, “Nakba to the enemy now! This day is our Pearl Harbour. We will still learn the lessons. Right now, one goal: Nakba! A Nakba that will overshadow the Nakba of 48. A Nakba in Gaza and a Nakba for anyone who dares to join!”

Scirocco · 25/10/2024 17:22

@GhostCicada talk about saying the quiet bit out loud... And these are the people chosen in democratic elections to govern...

The fact that people support this - the fact that parents support this - is really rather scary.
