FFS of course ‘all lives matter’ but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick a specific group for whom you either have an affiliation with or empathy.

I will extend this to friends and family in Lebanon and Gaza as well particularly as they do not have the defense capacity that Israel has and will be/have been so much more exposed and vulnerable.

I can only speak for myself, and the reason is that those threads are so partisan against Israel, and so full of propaganda, that they are not pleasant places for anyone who doesn't absolutely hate Israel.

I can also guess how any perceived derailment of those threads would go.

Everyday there's a new attack or people being killed in Gaza. They're suffering too. Their lives matter just as much as anyone else's.

Maybe some of you may now appreciate the feelings we have had about the lives of Palestinians and everyone elses as some of us have loved ones too who are terrified for their lives and trying to stay safe as best they can.

The answer is not many, if not, none.

This is a lie. Anyone can check the threads and see that that cannot be verified. Many people on all 'sides' have expressed sympathy for Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese civilians on the dozens and dozens of threads attacking Israel.

Well, I think Israel has played a blinder tonight.

They've goaded Iran into retaliatory action so they can now say that they can use all means at their disposal to defend themselves.

My Dad was involved in the defence business in the Middle East from 1980's through to the 2000's and had many dealings with multiple intelligence forces across the globe.
He always said that Israel was one nation you could never mess with. Their intelligence forces and military have always been considered the most vile outfit operating in that arena.

It's a shame they regard themselves as above other terrorist governments. They are no different.

The innocents are the Israeli people as much as Iranians, Lebanese and Palestinians.

The Israel authorities made it clear months ago they wanted to reframe their actions as the West against Iran and here we are They are achieving their aim.

The reason people in Lebanon and Gaza don't have the defence systems Israel has is because all the money that has bern poured into those countries is used by terrorists aka Hezbollah and Hamas to build tunnels to keep their war arsenal (from Iran) in order to fire constant barrages of rockets into Israel.

How can people STILL not understand why the (unverified) civilian death toll is high in a highly populated urban warfare combat zone where, strangely enough, the terrorist government likes to use their own civilians as human shields and needs their blood (says their leader) to further their cause which is why they deliberately started a war.

Although the combatant to civilian death ratio in Gaza is unprecedentedly low at 1:1.5 as opposed to 1:9 globally according to the UN. You do understand that sadly in a WAR people are killed which is why they really shouldn’t be started.

The genocide happened on Oct 7th.

Much love to all the innocent Israelis tonight. I can't imagine how terrifying it is. Unfortunately though this was inevitable. I really hope they (as in the leaders involved) are locked in a fucking room together and not allowed out until they agree to stop. Enough is enough!

The number of terrified innocents is increasing. Gaza, Lebanon and Israel. Where next, Iran? My heart goes out to anyone fearing for their life right now. Whether that’s a family being bombed in Lebanon or a terrified mother cowering in a bunker in Israel tonight. I cannot imagine what it must feel like as a parent. The photo of those kids tonight in a bunker in tel aviv made me shudder. Those poor frightened families.

What the hell is wrong with people. This is a war. Just horrific. No innocent civilian deserves this.
