I had not read that. I understood the Ayatollahs were only targeting Israeli military bases and an intelligence centre. I suspect we will find out more tomorrow.

Apologies if I wasn’t clear. These civilian targets are being targeted by Israel, not the other way around.

All of you saying this thread is for Israel - that's fine and I can sympathise with the fear that everyone there must be feeling. It's horrible and I'm sorry if anyone has any loved ones who are frightened, I hope they are safe. I hope all the innocent civilians are safe.

But how many of you have shown your empathy and support on all the other threads for the sufferings of the Palestinians and Lebanese and Syrian etc? The answer is not many, if not, none.

Everyday there's a new attack or people being killed in Gaza. They're suffering too. Their lives matter just as much as anyone else's.

Maybe some of you may now appreciate the feelings we have had about the lives of Palestinians and everyone elses as some of us have loved ones too who are terrified for their lives and trying to stay safe as best they can.

Apparently not. A poster on the thread has family hiding in a bunker right now but it would seem some posters just see her as someone to antagonise and attack.

If it wasn't obvious before (it was) what posters are frothing antisemites, it certainly is now. I'm sure the rest will turn up soon.

How can people STILL not understand why the (unverified) civilian death toll is high in a highly populated urban warfare combat zone where, strangely enough, the terrorist government likes to use their own civilians as human shields and needs their blood (says their leader) to further their cause which is why they deliberately started a war.

Although the combatant to civilian death ratio in Gaza is unprecedentedly low at 1:1.5 as opposed to 1:9 globally according to the UN. You do understand that sadly in a WAR people are killed which is why they really shouldn’t be started.

The genocide happened on Oct 7th.
