Agreed.

So campaign to free the hostages and Gaza from Hamas.

Why on earth do people keep trotting out this stupid line? Why was Israel killing so many children before 7/10? And Netanyahu categorically has stated that the war will not end.

Of course those conflicts don't involve the Jews, so perhaps they don't warrant your outrage and attention

This is so incredibly offensive and insensitive. This is a thread about the deaths and/or loss of 20,000 children, and you are insinuating that people only care about it because the conflict involves Jews. Shame on you.

So essentially 2HH, you’re saying it’s antisemetic to care about thousands of Palestinians children who have been killed or had their limbs amputated or have lost their whole family. This has of course already been discussed at length. If you are British like most people here, our government is not neutral when it comes to Israel and has been supporting the current and past actions of the government. No PM has gone over to Sudan, shook the hand of whoever ever is responsible for the massacres over there and stated ‘I want you to win’.

AhNowTed · 30/06/2024 09:06

@22H

"Of course those conflicts don't involve the Jews, so perhaps they don't warrant your outrage and attention."

No outrage when Israel was killing Palestinians on a daily basis.

No outrage when the IDF shot 502 Palestinians, many of them children in 2023 before 7/10.

It took the massacre of Jews before anyone noticed.

Scirocco · 30/06/2024 09:27

When people cannot come up with a reality-based defence for atrocities, they resort to trying to be offensive and accusatory towards others.

Classic DARVO.

We're seeing it more often because it's hard to find a good justification for thousands of dead children.

Our job is to act as a bridge between chaos and justice

What an important aim to find out everyt single person who has been killed, by their name, and the circumstances which killed them. I had not heard of Airwars and their work before.

It is interesting to see that, from the lists of deaths they have established so far, they tally with the Gaza Ministry of Health death figures. So the MoH figures are reliable.

As for Israel saying they don’t target civilians, that statement does not make sense. That is sophistry.

If you bomb a busy market full of civilians then you are targeting civilians, even if there was only one Hamas fighter there you were ostensibly targeting.

AhNowTed · 29/07/2024 08:52

@ScrollingLeaves

"If you bomb a busy market full of civilians then you are targeting civilians, even if there was only one Hamas fighter there you were ostensibly targeting"

I'm so tired hearing the nauseating argument and justification for bombing innocent civilians.. because human shields.

The obscene justification for bombing an entire hospital for one Hamas terrorist.

If Hamas was hiding amongst civilians in a hospital in Tel Aviv I'm pretty sure the outcome would be entirely different and those same cheer leaders up in arms.

I just read this statistic:

”If you had one funeral a day for each child killed in Gaza in nearly 10 months, it would take over 40 years.

That’s not including the 20,000 missing children.”

That’s depressing. Not sure how someone could start to quantify the pain and suffering.

Dreadful. Their poor Dad.

ScrollingLeaves · 13/08/2024 19:56

That poor man, what despair he must feel.

The IDF blaming Hamas for operating in densely populated areas -isn’t all of Gaza a densely populated area? And then the IDF has herded the
people into even more confined spaces, and there is no where else to go to “choose” from.

Dulra · 13/08/2024 20:00

Oh God that is heartbreaking 💔 may their little souls rest in peace

EllaDisenchanted · 13/08/2024 21:58

💔 I saw this in the daily mail and came on here. The grief and pain on his face is heartbreaking 😞
Their memories should be for a blessing 💔💔

Martymcfly24 · 13/08/2024 22:13

I also saw it on the Daily Mail. That poor man, and those poor babies never had a chance at life.
I also looked at some comments on the Daily Mail (stupid rookie mistake) , they were evil.

Parkingt111 · 14/08/2024 09:49

That poor poor father, how does one come to terms with such tragedy? I saw the pictures of the beautiful babies and the first thing I thought of was, please let it have been an instant death. His wife too, his whole family gone in an instant for what?
If it's a comfort for anyone reading this, I once read that all children who die in infancy stay and play in the gardens of paradise with the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) pbuh, until the time when they can be united with their parents again.
