Oh I think there are about 10000 threads about that. This thread is about celebrating 4 innocents who are now free.

So predictable.

This is a a celebratory thread about hostages - not a whataboutery thread. If you have nothing celebratory to share, feel free to exit.

If you think that is happening then report it to MNHQ.

Thems the rules.

It was confirmed on another thread. The poster admitted it.

This is wonderful news. I hope the rescued hostages are able to provide intel to find and rescue the others. 🙏

EmpressOfTheThread · 08/06/2024 14:05

Such fantastic news! I can't imagine what that poor woman has been through.
I'm just glad that she's back with her family, and I hope the others can be too.
Wasn't there a baby kidnapped as well?

roarrfeckingroar · 08/06/2024 14:07

God bless them all, wonderful news

Maybe, just maybe, I might have already posted my celebratory message in the other thread.

Maybe, just maybe, I can feel some happiness that innocent people have returned home while also being devastated that families have been torn apart in the process and at least one person I very much hoped to see again has been murdered in the past couple days, while also reading about the torture of others (I very much hope you never see names of people you know in accounts of horrific torture and abuse of civilians, because I have, and many people here have been absolutely silent about it or used sockpuppetry to entertain themselves while I and others like me are grieving).

The Bibas family - Kfir and Ariel are the children. I hope they can be found and rescued - it's horrible to think of.

You really can't take a hint can you.

Yet again, another thread derailed by those who only want to talk about the heart-breaking scenes in Gaza.

This is not the thread to do it.

This thread is to celebrate the release of poor souls INTENTIONALLY snatched whilst enjoying a music festival and subjected to INTENTIONAL horrific abuse for MONTHS.

It's hard to believe.

I cried. I interrupted my child's D&D campaign and cried while I hugged and kissed him. And I think he'll forgive me because he's also been pent up since Oct.

This isn't celebrating the deaths of anyone, because war is awful. But I don't think most people understand how much many Jews are tied up in knots at the moment, the anxiety about family who were kidnapped months ago and are still held hostage is immense. We need them all home.

Thank everything to be thanked that Noa's mother is alive to see her daughter again.

Actually, my initial post was in defence of someone who had posted a positive remark about the hostages and appeared to have been attacked for it.

Surely it's good that hostages have been rescued and don't appear severely injured. Yet someone was being criticised for saying so.

I left my personal experience of the past few days out of it until the previous poster/username attacked me.

Thisagainandagain · 08/06/2024 14:17

Fantastic

thepurcellsisters · 08/06/2024 14:17

The two red haired babies.

Kfir and Ariel.

They have yet to be rescued.

We need them home too.

You won't get that from @Scirocco. But this is the brightest day for a long time thanks to the bravery of the IDF. May the rest of the hostages return home safe and well.

noblegiraffe · 08/06/2024 14:21

@Scirocco I wondered if something was up because of the way you are posting which is unlike you. I am really sorry to hear that you have recently received such terrible news. Take care of yourself. I would honestly recommend taking a break from this section because I don't think it will help in that.

Read the other thread.

Not sure why you think that about me, but if you actually want to ask me any questions, feel free. You just need to actually @ me or it doesn't send through a notification.

I've posted my congratulatory message in the other thread. It is genuinely good news for the hostages and their families.

I have been disgusted by the recent actions of other posters, who appear to be using this board for their own entertainment without considering that some people on here are personally affected.

stomachamelon · 08/06/2024 14:27

@Scirocco it's not like you to post like this.
Maybe (in a kind way) this thread is not for you.
We could all do with being empathetic to each others pain but this thread is a thread of celebration.
I have had to avoid threads and sometimes the whole board when I am in pain.
