I have read about this bloke before about this an before and he has been campaigning for a long time. So the Genocide stuff may have given him more evidence and support for his campaign. However once we hear the full findings from the people looking into her academic work we will see what the truth is. Did she resign because of his campaign or was it because she has been rumbled for plagiarism. Currently the evidence suggests the latter because overwise academics would not be saying there is evidence of this in the first place
I suppose we could say she was being checked for plagiarism because of the spotlight on her at the moment. However that isn't a culture war and will happen to anyone in academia or a wrter with that much publicity
Plus if this is about her not stopping prejudice against Jewish children on campus then why is that being called a culture war. They should have said it was racism on campus or a culture of racism
Plus in what way is the dreadful human being a casualty. The BBC are making it sound like she is a victim. The woman said that calling for the Genocide of Jewish people was only prejudice depending on context. That does not make her a victim of anything going on at the university. It makes her guilty as fuck of letting racism fester amongst students. She had a duty of care to 18 year old kids that were likely experiencing their first time away from home. She is not a casualty in all this.
