Before our friends turn up to correct us, this video is actually from the Qatar World Cup in 2022 (apparently the England fans were notorious for saying "Free Palestine" when interviewed). It started trending again after England's latest win in the Euro's 😉.

Beautiful dress worn wonderfully by a beautiful human. Just wanted to say that the artist said she wore the dress to honour both Palestine and Sudan ❤️🤍🖤💚

Thank you @BelleHathor , I think our messages crossed but I had just seen this on X too. Apologies, the first place I saw the dress posted hadn’t mentioned it, which was a bit naughty of them really. Quite shocking when the artist did explicitly mention both countries in her post (which I hadn’t read initially).

Did they also show harrowing footage of the Oct 7th atrocities, particularly the Thai farmer having his head hacked off with a garden hoe and the naked dead body of Shani Louk being spat on, and call for Hamas and the other assorted Palestinian terrorist groups to surrender and release the hostages, including the baby and his 4 year old brother, so Israel have no basis to continue this war, which was the reason it started and why so many Gazans are suffering? Even via Hamas themselves from the videos of young Gazan men and boys being beaten in the streets. They could have shown a few of them too.

If not, why not?

A beautiful dress in the colours of Palestine and Sudan. Both countries deserve opportunities to heal and have peace, free from violence and terror.

Extremely naughty of the first account ignoring the artists post, decent people have enough room in their hearts to care about both tragic situations.

I’m not sure if they did or not. I’m sure that they condemn the actions of Hamas on October 7th. Atrocities were committed which can never be justified.

If they did not air information about October 7th, I guess it may be because they are aware that these terrible actions have already been widely reported worldwide. They have been condemned by the highest in office across the globe.

In contrast, the equally terrible atrocities being committed against the Palestinians, in far greater volume, are not being adequately reported worldwide. Mainstream journalists such as Medhi Hassan and Sangita Mysoka have lost their jobs for speaking out. Furthermore over 150 journalists have been murdered in Gaza.

To me, the people in Vienna were trying to show their fellow citizens a brief snapshot of what is going on, as it is not being reported adequately in the mainstream media.

plus, many Western governments are complicit in the genocide, so citizens really needs to know what is going on with their government’s support. In contrast, we are not complicit with anything Hamas does. We have already (rightly) condemned them.

Spain is receiving from children from Gaza for hospital treatment.

As health services continue to struggle in Gaza, several countries in Europe have offered to help with medical evacuations for children. On Wednesday, 15 children arrived in Madrid.

Israel Agrees to Evacuate 250 Sick and Wounded Gazans for Medical Treatment in UAE

Ahead of a High Court of Justice hearing on a petition calling for a system to evacuate sick and wounded from Gaza for necessary medical care, COGAT said Israel, along with the WHO, is planning an initial medical evacuation from Eilat.

Israel will evacuate sick and wounded residents of the Gaza Strip for medical treatment in the United Arab Emirates, Haaretz has learned. An initial medical evacuation flight, carrying 250 Gazans, is expected to take off from Ramon airport near Eilat next week.
