And now he's realised it's not going the way he thought and public opinion is changing so he is back tracking

But these are not just statistics that the US can say which ones they want to pick
These are real humans, people who once had dreams and aspirations and who didn't deserve to die
And then denied the dignity of their death even being acknowledged

Jewish doesn't equal unquestioning support for Israel though, there are lots of, especially young, Jewish people in the US that don't support an attempted genocide.

I think he is trying to walk a line though, don't piss of the pro Israel crowd too much, don't piss off the pro Palestinian crowd too much. Ultimately though he will always support Israel, the US don't fund Israel every year out of the goodness of their hearts. I don't think the US have ever particularly cared about Israel just their position in the middle east.

When will it be enough deaths for Israel? How many more innocent civilians and kids do they have to slaughter? Is over 10k not enough? 1000+ dead children still buried under the rubble. At least 13 people have died from starvation and dehydration because aid isn't getting through quick enough. When the fuck is it going to be enough?

For anyone wanting to learn more about the history of the crisis, I recommend the David McWilliams podcast - he has a 3 part series. It’s not unbiased - he is very anti the Israeli administration- but he lived in Israel and it’s an interesting viewpoint from an economist’s point of view.

Also the today in focus podcast from the Guardian has loads including an interviews with the hostages families.

I've been getting it for weeks now. Every time I watch something on YouTube one of their ads comes up multiple times. I've heard they've spent a massive amount of money on the ad campaign.

They have paid people (often students) to push pro Israeli viewpoint on social media and forums for over a decade.

This is verified by the bbc etc, not just rumour. Of course when I put up a thread about it on here MN deleted it for being speculation despite me lining to the bbc verified article.

A pro Israel organisation are offering to pay students $250 in 'expenses' to attend a pro Israel march in Washington on the 14th. Kind of embarrassing that they need to pay people to attend.
