Did Hamas? Now I don't doubt that Hamas use human shields, nor that they will have bases in residential areas. However, apart from a very, well, suspicious looking photo from Netanyahu, there is no proof Hamas hide out in hospitals. To be honest, even if they did, surely the patients would be put first? Is it worth killing so many civilians for a handful of Hamas fighters?

I hope posters like this are getting paid well to look stupid on the Internet. It's tiresome at this stage. We get it, Israel have no control over their actions, everything is the fault of Hamas.

It's a sickeningly ignorant comment to imply that jewish people in ww2 had some sort of easy route to get their children out...if that was the case 1.5 million wouldn't have been murdered. Do we really need to play top trumps when it comes to children being murdered?

People keep banging on about Hamas using children as human shields. Yes, they do.

But the thing about human shields is that they are supposed to be shields. Civilised, good people aren't supposed to shrug and say, "oh well, thousands of dead children is worth it". They are supposed to think twice, not bomb the schools, hospitals and apartment buildings where mothers and their babies are.

Hamas is evil, but so are the people killing babies right now. If you are killing thousands of children you are, by any definition, fucking evil. The other 'side' right not be good but you are certainly evil.

I don't want them just to be voted out; I want them to be prosecuted for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. They are inhuman criminals without an ounce of humanity. I wish I studied some legal specialty at uni. I would have made it my life's purpose to bring some sort of closure to all the innocent victims families by putting those responsible behind bars.

I know. There is a reason to not listen to everybody but Israel, which is very handy for Israel. Dh and I always end up laughing when the hear the Israeli ambassador on the radio forcing their script into the conversation, making sure they hit every point on the checklist no matter how the interviewer tries to take the interview.

It literally is like a checklist! It's like the convo can't happen unless we hit certain narratives, which start from condemning hamas, to giving Gazans freedom since 2005, to Palestinian terrorism, to tunnels and diverted funds and human shields to only democracy in the ME. They can't have capacity for thinking beyond an accepted narrative and condemning everyone who on differs to a single point..

If you point a gun or a bomb at a child and pull the trigger you are not a good person. We see you Isreal and we draw the only conclusions we can.

So they should immediately give the hostages over with no expression from Israel at all that they are even negotiating or changing any thing towards the people of Gaza for the hostages.

Transporting children away from war zones to safety shouldn’t be an alien issue, it should be in all our interests. Children that don’t have bombs falling on them non stop have a hope of growing up normally.
