No one is supporting Hamas. People are supporting innocent people, ordinary people like themselves who've got caught in the crossfire and will pay the ultimate price. I'm sick of people twisting things around and making out that if people support Palestine they support Hamas, the vast majority of people support humanity and I'd like to think if we were in the same position others would support us.

Are you trying to justify the genocide that's happening on innocent Palestinians??? Did anyone of us here says we're supporting Hamas???? Stop twisting what's happening. Israel doesn't care about its hostages as long as it's wiping Gaza off the face of the earth. I could maybe understand people who sided with Israel in the past as they were blinded by the propagandists, but now? There's absolutely NO excuse at all as we can see the raw unfiltered reality directly from there. No filter, no lies, no misinformation.

And tbh, it sounds like you're using Hamas's tactics, they use past Israeli atrocities to justify what they did 3 weeks ago and now you're doing the same to justify what is happening now.

I've commented on the sheer scale of the support, in the streets of Palestine and around the world. Completely brazen. And e.g. a whole family audibly rejoicing to hear that their son and brother has just slaughtered 10 Jews, instead of saying "Err, hold on a minute..." 🤯

I don’t understand why the UN haven’t offered to go in with peacekeeping troops? I remember they did in Serbia with success. Or have they offered and it’s been declined? I agree that I can’t see negotiation between the two sides being successful so it needs an independent third party surely?

As others have said no one has forgotten what happened on 7th October but that does not justify what Israel is doing today and every single day since. Let's not forget what Israel did to the people of Palestine prior to the 7th October. The Hamas attack didn't happen in a vacuum. That is not justifying it but context is crucial.

How can you ignore the thousands that Israel has slaughtered, displaced, injured with their cruel and brutal attempts to dehumanise the Palestinian population. The commentary from some so called Israeli statespeople has been disgusting and beyond barbaric. How can they think such thoughts let alone feel comfortable saying them out loud?

Stop with attempts to deflect and distort. Thankfully we can hear and see what Israel is doing. There is no hiding place and neither should there be. Shame on Israel and anyone that can support their actions without question. The world said Never Again but those words are starting to look very hollow.

Israel has the US supporting them, unconfirmed reports say that US troops are also on the ground accessing via the sea. They can do what they like as they have the most powerful behind them. Switching the internet off, cutting off the telecommunications network means no one can see what they are doing.

The West has always stood by and let genocides happen - Rwanda; Darfur. The difference is everyone can see that the West is complicit this time and that international law and human rights are fallacies only invoked when it suits their agenda.

It’s interesting that Yair Netanyahu has ignored the call up of reservists and remains in Florida. If I was an Israeli with relatives been sent in to Gaza, risking their lives I’d be very pissed off that the Prime Ministers son wasn’t doing the same.

@Everyone, please. Let's focus on the purpose of this thread. What can we do to help? The suffering has been going on in all of Palestine not just Gaza for a long time now. Lots of people didn't have a true picture of what was going there because of the biased reporting of the mass media. But now there's no excuse as there are so many ways to have a real view bypassing all the propagandists mouthpieces. If I could I would drag the main war criminal and all his clique to the International Criminal Court where he would be tried for all the inhuman crimes he and his pals committed against innocent people.
My question is what can we do now to help. Every little help. So please share.

• Main thing now is to spread awareness about the Palestinians plight to everyone so the whole world could see for themselves.
• Write to our MPs. We are NOT happy that my government is condoning the genocide. Things need to change.
• Give to reputable charities to help the victims.
• Boycott businesses that are known to support the Israeli government (please note: I am not talking about Jewish owned but those which support the genociders).

Please share other ways to help. And don't forget nothing is insignificant. We have to stand up to oppression. We have to stand up to our governments in strong peaceful ways to say: Not in my name!

Another one trying to twist the truth and change the narrative to suit their needs and justify the unjustifiable. So in other words you support the genocide? You support the indiscriminate murder of innocent children? You support the criminals? Because, if we follow your logic:

Speak up for Palestinians = support Hamas

Then

Can I ask you OP, what you think of those UK residents tearing down the posters of innocent Israeli (among other nationalities) hostages? including little toddlers wrenched from their mothers, currently held in tunnels by the inbreds of Hamas? If they're still alive ofc, which I doubt.
