I’d like to respectfully request you update the title of the thread. It should be 8000 (updated figures) killed. too often in the media they use passive language when it comes to reporting on Palestinians killed by Israel. Palestinians are described as ‘dying’ as if they just dropped dead of their own accord, we need to use active words - they were killed by Israel, they did not just die.

@Dinkydaisy1 I am appealing to you.... you did see the footage of the Hamas gunman who stole that ladies phone after shooting her daughter through the head? Her husband missing? Telling his mother he had murdered 14 Jews?

What do you think will happen if there is a ceasefire? Hamas will regroup and Hamas need removing once and for all.

Both sides need to reconcile but Hamas need to go.

Happy to have a civil conversation about this. There has been a lot posted on these threads this week about the history of the region and the various issues. I don't condone Hamas, nor the Israeli government, but any productive conversation needs to start with an openness to listen and understand the ground realities outside of media headlines and status quo narratives.

What if Hamas were hiding in Israel? There are approximately 25,000 Hamas members. What if they were hiding in Israel, would you support Netanyahu's response to October 7th and military policy then?
