Conflict in the Middle East

To think Hamas have given Israel the excuse they were looking for?

Not all of Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he will obliterate Hamas. But undoubtedly hundred if not thousands of civilians will now be killed.

I’m not sure what Hamas thought the end game if this would be? What have the Iranians convinced them of? This was a sophisticated operation, outside help was given for definite.

I’m not sure it’s possible to rationalise with dehumanised terrorists, neither am I sure what the end game will be, but I just can’t understand what Hamas expected if not a total war/strikes from Israel in retaliation.

The people minimising the deranged slaughter and rape of defenceless people can never be reasoned with. They are bigoted and full of self righteous hatred, much the same as we have seen with ISIS sympathisers.

Equally Hamas cannot be reasoned with, because they're full of self righteous hatred and enjoy wallowing in that thick state of ignorance and loathing of Jewish people, women and anyone else that is defenceless including Palestinians. How do I know that Hamas loathe anyone defenceless, not just their arch enemy, the Jews? They abuse their own people including Palestinian children, using them as human shields, and misappropriating funds that has been generously given to them to improve the lives of Palestinians including healthcare and education for their children.

Hamas terrorists have no humanity and only exist to please themselves and live out their brutal and perverted way of life. Some people enjoy displaying solidarity with murderers, abusers and rapists as we have seen on many threads in recent days. Don't make the mistake to assume everyone is intelligent, has critical thinking skills, is educated about history and able to see past their narrow and entrenched views or indeed past their unconscious bias towards Israelis and Jewish people. They're followers of an ideology they don't even fully understand.

DailyMail reporting Hamas have beheaded babies.
Are the sympathisers still here??

Yet when one child is murdered in this country we have threads where people are weeping and wailing. They’re “hugging their babies” and lighting candles. They’re posting threads about how they nearly gave birth at the hospital where Lucy Letby worked.

Not seen the same for the Palestinian babies and children murdered recently……nor the ones in Israel.

Can someone explain why half of Gazians are children? Where are the adults? Is it terrorism, lack of healthcare?

the average life expectancy in Palestine was about 74.5 years in 2022.
Which is higher than in neighbouring Egypt, for context. Or Mexico.

So no, healthcare probably shouldn’t be described as especially lacking.

Palestinian women have about 3.5 children on average according to some sources. I’ve also seen the number 4.5.

that would obviously be a contributing factor as well.

Spot on.

@Oioicaptain This is where I am at. I genuinely thought the claims that Israel were heavy handed as Hamas wanted to wipe them out were excuses.
They weren't. I've now seen first hand what Hamas would do to that entire country if they were given free run and it's as bad as they said. No wonder Gaza has been blockaded.

beachcitygirl · 11/10/2023 10:18

The Israeli forces have confirmed that the be heading of babies story is inaccurate.

Hamas are still evil monsters but let's everyone stop the repeating debunked evil.

It's bad enough.

We don't need lies to be convinced Hamas is evil

beachcitygirl · 11/10/2023 11:00

@SomeCatFromJapan yes I'm aware of what was being reported. It's been debunked.

BBC world news reporter has confirmed today that the Israeli army have stated that they have no information regarding any beheading of babies.

The word that CNN uses is "butchered", the news story is less than an hour old:

beachcitygirl · 11/10/2023 11:31

Well it seems to be that BBC & CNN are saying different things. Which suggests it's at best unconfirmed.
So let's stop until it confirmed or not.

No one needs unconfirmed "reports" hyperbole- things are bad enough.

I trust you agree.

SomeCatFromJapan · 11/10/2023 11:33

The BBC couldn't even bring themselves to describe Hamas as a terrorist organisation.
There are multiple other legacy media outlets reporting the massacre.

Glitterdavies · 11/10/2023 11:34

Regret, foolish, animals.
Hmm I'm seeing a lot of victim blaming towards the Palestians here.

MrsSkylerWhite · 11/10/2023 11:38

I’ve always been sympathetic of ordinary Palestinian families, trying to live their lives in the most appalling circumstances. Hamas has just done them the most terrible disservice.

ForFriends · 11/10/2023 11:45

Some posters are reluctantly realising that savagely brutalising hundreds of defenceless families and showing this off on SM isn't great PR for Hamas. After all, Hamas still want all those $€€£€€$ in aid for continued arms shopping, right? No use if the world sees them for the deranged terrorists they are. Not good for that victimhood image at all.

Though Jeremy Bowen did confirm on news last night that a woman had been beheaded in her garden in Ashkelon. He saw her body himself.

Yes I seen that, Horrific and absolutely should be reported

I'm merely suggesting that reports that several reputable agencies can't agree on and are unconfirmed shouldn't be reported-

especially something so horrifying it spreads like wildfire.

It's every decent human being's worst nightmare.

In fact the BBC have reported on this. They use the term decapitated.

Like I say conflicting reports from bbc & cnn

Let's get facts straight before gossiping on a social media site.

I'm sure you'll agree

YesterdaysGirl · 11/10/2023 12:00

gossiping

What the actual fuck!!

Ah yes little ladies get back to your kitchens and talk more about nappies and cheap meals!!

Fucking gossiping!!! 🙄

Yes gossiping.

This is a serious issue. We should be at least attempting to stick to facts. Not unsubstantiated reports that reputable news agencies can't agree on.

What the hell have nappies got to to do with that

Jeezo

MrsSkylerWhite · 11/10/2023 12:19

Jeremy Bowen is entirely reputable. If he reports that victims were beheaded, I believe him. That is not gossip.

I agrée, they're blinded by their own hate and it will backfire (is backfiring).

This. Hamas have now been seen for what they are - Isis style Jihadi terrorists.

Of course not. That was all propaganda from Israeli sponsored media. Just like how BBC journalists are contacting Palestinian people under false pretenses about their experiences & then trying to railroad them into supporting Israel’s attacks on Palestine.
