curly loving your long post. Sorry to hear about the sleep problems. I think there must be something in the air (as well as with the teething) with our lo's sleep as Saara's sleep routine has been totally messed up. It's been taking us an hour to put her to sleep this week. She hasnt been going to sleep until 9.30pm-10pm when previously she was going to sleep at 8pm. DH is so much better than me at putting her to sleep (also using the shush/patting method). The other day DH wasnt home and I ended up shouting at her because she wouldnt go to sleep. I felt so guilty about it that I couldnt go to sleep until 1am that night. She used to go to sleep whilst drinking her last bottle of the day but that hasnt been working either. However, I think we might be back on track today - wish us luck! Also, I am eternally grateful that she tends to sleep through the night.

pfj hope you're not in so much pain either. Your DS sounds so cute. Also, I know what you mean about toys taking over and grandparents spoiling our lo's. My mum bought Saara this ages ago but left it at hers, but we had to bring it home yesterday. Her name is Lotty and she keeps on staring at me

Enjoy your babymoon.curly's idea of a diary is a good one. What I do (as I never seem to have time to write in a diary) is when Saara does something for the first time, is make a note of it in my phone's calender, with a view to write it all out in her baby book (one day!)

Thanks for all your kind words about Saara. She still has a runny nose but is much better otherwise. She had a cough last night which seems OK in the day and is still a bit wheezy, but people have been telling me not to give her the asthma pump too much as she might get too dependant on it. We had her second tooth coming through today.

Best be off, Junior Apprentice final is on and I know I'm the only one on here but I'm sooo excited about the World Cup starting tomorrow! Hope I dont offend our ladies in Scotland on here by saying Come On England! (Sabs runs out before someone throws a beanbag at her!)

Sabs Yes am liking BB so far, the housemates all look annoying enough that there will be some clashes... which we like. The house is so busy looking, so when they joked that blind mikey had done all the decorating it was hilarious.

The new toy inhabiting your living room that is staring at you definately needs a very big hat, sunglasses, or it needs to find a new home... behind the sofa? In the garden shed..? or perhaps to be sure... the canary islands!?? Tis very cute, but something that big in my small space and I would be so secretly pissed off at my parents hehehe....

Things still not great with me, Doctors doing more tests and its looking a little more serious, though treatable. Don't want to say too much, but may have to decide to hold off on TTC until we know more

Have been lurking, but just not up to posting, but I am thinking of you all, especially those new saggy panters busy cuddling their bundles of joy and recouperating, the 'pro saggypanters' overcoming the challenges of motherhood (think you are all doing great btw!) LBM who hasn't got long to go now MLS who has become our resident fertility expert and the small panters who are going through it too, each in their own way.

Work has gone ballistic again - out of the house for 6.30 am, home by 7.30pm and in bed, exhausted by 9.30pm is my life at the moment. Loving the work but soooo exhausted - must be good baby training

Hi ladies v quick update from me, so sorry for lack of personals but have been keeping up with you all- I read on my phone while feeding Jude but can't post.
He's doing so well, only 1oz off his birth weight already which the mw couldn't believe this morning he is such a hungry boy- fed him for 3 hours straight tonight

As for me I am slightly better..able to walk a bit more now. I have been to physio twice for ultrasound treatment to break up the haematoma in my scar which has helped. Today I had my fanjo photographed by a medical photographer for future teaching cases!! I feel like I should start selling tickets so many people have looked up there in the last couple of weeks.

Like 4ever I'm that our only trips out so far have been back to the hospital! But tomorrow we are off to my parents for the weekend which will be lovely if I can survive the car trip on my poor bruised rear end!

curly it wasn't that hard a decision to make at all really, I am really enjoying being at home and looking after my boys . After I had ds1 I couldn't wait to get back to work, but it's different this time, I had family to help out with childcare and was a lot happier to leave ds1, but as we are on our own up here I don't feel ready to leave Ajay just yet. So we have decided to just manage I plan to get my degree done, then do the teacher training in time for Ajay atarting school.

Dh is back to work and D is asleep, the second nap of the day and its only 10am she is still eating loads but is napping just as much and not waking nearly as often at night now so i think we have come through to the other side, fingers crossed!

Im so at the ladies who are meeting up (and very sorry that vjay and blue didnt manage it ) i hope you all have a fab time, im back in the uk in october for 3 weeks, dh has a course in london while i was going to go straight home but if any of you are about i will delay going home in favor of a girlie gossip and coffee!

vjay im going to be a sahm too! Well done you on taking the big step, im sure you wont regret it at all, after all 2 boys and 2 seagulls must be hardwork but very rewarding! PS chocolate does take all illnesses away, i con vouch for that one hope ds feels better soon
