at having the kids in bed early enough to watch Eastenders.

DH now home and has made me a cup of tea. (Clearly better trained than I thought )

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:42

Oh no mls I'm sorry if I've given anything away

neeko we are off to a wedding in Manchester, and we are staying in a hotel, no kids To be honest I'm a little nervous leaving Ajay as he's not as used to his grandparents as Cjay, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Then we have another wedding the following day, just the evening reception and no kids AGAIN

just seen a post in feeding that lansinoh is half price in Sainsbury's. Stock up Iggy and MLS! (I'm allergic to lanolin so could never use it, but have heard it's great.)

MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:42

Yes I did watch it, firstly she did it all wrong. She should have tried to befriend him rather than piss him off, I kept thinking he was going to put an axe in her head! Secondly, how long has that house next to theirs been boarded up for? Who lived there before? Oh yes indeed, Thursday's episode is going to be a stonking one!

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:42

Why I did I just think that was mls posting, sorry neeko that was you

OP posts:
Neeko · 27/07/2010 21:44

OOH Vjay lucky you. Ajay will be fine but should prob spend several afternoons with them before then just in case

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:44

I do remember Lucas looking at the boarded up house last week or the week before, and I thought it was odd, but now it makes sense. As for who lived there before, no idea!

OP posts:
VJay · 27/07/2010 21:45

neeko he can't they live 400 miles away. The boys are stopping one night at one set of gp's and the other night at another set!

MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:48

Neeko I've already bought some Mothercare nipple cream but I did order some Lanisoh breast pads (presuming that I actually produce enough milk this time to leak!) from Sainsbury's to arrive today but they were out of stock .

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:49

mlsI used the Lanisoh breast pads, they were the best ones for me, all the rest leaked.

MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:50

Crikey 400 miles. Well you know he'll be well looked after & I'm sure he'll settle.

MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:51

This is brilliant, only woman can have a simultaneous conversation about three different topics & not be phased!

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:52

I know as long as he has his sleeping bag, milk and big bro he'll be fine.

We need another thread soon!

Was the boarded up house the Millers house?

OP posts:
MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:52

Arrgghh we need a new thread.

VJay · 27/07/2010 21:53

OP posts:
MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 21:53

But why was it boarded up, I'm going to google it now...

monkeybumsmum · 27/07/2010 21:54

Iggy So impressed at you posting your birth details so soon! Sounds like you did brilliantly I too still gaze in wonder at my ds, when he's sleeping and also when he's awake. Bet he thinks I'm a bit simple really Enjoy every single moment with your dd, it's such a special time for you

Mermaid thanks for reminding me how many points are in pizza - I seem to remember Jamie Oliver saying a few slices of pizza with a green salad was a very nutritious meal as it hits all the main food groups. I think I'll stick to that belief for the moment

I have a WW recipe book at home, and can post a few next week when I get back if anyone's interested? They have some really good things iirc!

Barbie was thinking of you and Dolly yesterday when I was going through my stuff in my old bedroom as I found an spare copy of Annabel Karmel's Baby and Toddler Meal Planner book - have you already got it? It's really good, and was my absolute bible when weaning ds... If you haven't got a copy and would like one then I'll send it to you.
Did dh get back okay? Hope you had a lovely hair-free reunion

Louey Where in the UK are you? I have a fab acupuncture lady, but i s'pose the chances of you being near where I am are very slim! I'm from the Wirral/near Chester area... Sorry to hear about your sister having problems, hope the referral comes through soon. Maybe acupuncture will help her, it has been known to work miracles.

4ever Sorry to hear about your prolapse That must be horrible for you. A friend of a friend had the same thing, and had her second dd with it like that. Will try to get details from my friend for you - remind me if I forget Don't be embarrassed about it though, I don't think it's necessarily a 'common' problem, but it's certainly not unheard of. My MIL had a complete prolapse a few years ago, and had it operated on, and is fine now. After your birth it's not surprising that this has happened, but at least you've had it looked at so they can keep an eye on it.
Great news that Summer's doing so well You must be very proud!

Blue and Neeko Lovely that you had such a nice day and that you got to meet each other. Neeko you'll have met everyone on the thread soon if you carry on at this rate

Have had lovely day today - ds, dad, bro, his gf and I went to North Wales to revisit where we used to spend our summer hols. We went on a steam train which ds loved and went to visit my Grandad (ds' great grandad) who's 93. V tired now so off to bed... Good luck all you dieters out there, you will be looking and feeling fab in no time if all this enthusiasm is anything to go by

Night all xxx

Neeko · 27/07/2010 21:54

Gosh Vjay 400 miles? That's hard. he'll be fine. Just remember that they know what they're doing and have a drink to calm your nerves.

monkeybumsmum · 27/07/2010 21:56

Mega x-posts Just seen Lansinoh mentioned - wonderful stuff! Off to catch up....again....

Neeko · 27/07/2010 21:57

Hi Monkey Sound like you had a great day. Maybe I should make meeting everyone a target? When are you free?

VJay · 27/07/2010 22:00

Hi monkey we used to holiday in North Wales too I would love some WW recipes please if you get chance, and barbie that recipe book of monkeys is fab, tis my bible too

neeko I've been up here nearly 4.5 years, and it's a lot easier now. That's also why I gave birth on my own

MummyLovesSadie · 27/07/2010 22:02
