SabsFabulous · 04/06/2010 22:27

cupcake thanks for the update. Can't wait to hear more news

vjay lemon cupcakes - yum! I've told DH to bring me an icecream milkshake when he comes home from footie, as my reward for staying indoors and taking care of my lovely whilst its been so hot. We have so many new icecream parlours opened near us, its fab
but not so good for my waistline

pfj you made me laugh with the gas and air story

louey Thanks for accepting my invite on FB. Just waiting for pfj to accept now

lbm loving the photo's...agree with pfj the teddy photo is lovely!

QA hope you're having a good night out

Are there any SATC fans on here? I went to see the film on Wednesday night with my BF. Its very funny, but some of the Arab stereotypes are a bit

Also do we have any footie fans on here? Or am I the only one getting mega excited about the World Cup

Hi to jools mermaid and any other lurkers

As always thanks a lot to everyone for their advice. We ended up taking S to the GP's as her breathing was worrying me, and she spent practically the whole day sleeping. GP was concerned about her wheezing, so gave an asthma pump. She screamed her little head off when we had to give it to her using one of those plastic thingies (nebuliser?)

I think I'll decide in the morning about going to the wedding depending on how the night goes.

SabsFabulous · 04/06/2010 22:29

For curly mini milk

SabsFabulous · 04/06/2010 22:32

Neeko · 04/06/2010 22:33

Hi Sabs I'd say go with your gut instinct tomorrow. You're a great mum and you'll know what to do.

Right, really am off to bed now.

loueytbg · 04/06/2010 22:34

lurking for cupcake news and to check on pfj

lurkety lurkety lurk as miss Gracie would say

vj I'm getting broody too I don't know why, I'm knackered. I think curlygirl is going thru another growth spurt. It's weird but we've both noticed she looks different overnight! can they grow that fast?

MummyLovesSadie · 05/06/2010 07:14

Morning Curly yes sometimes they do grow that fast! Didn't you notice that about your bump though? Sometimes you'd come home from work, look in the mirror & be visibly bigger.

Sabs if the plastic thing attaches to the inhaler then you mean a spacer. A nebuliser has a mask attached to it & you breathe in liquid salbutamol via a tube attached to it. My dd (& loads of my friends dc's) has a spacer & a ventolin inhaler. They can actually take loads of puffs each time without it doing any harm. My friends' ds was having breathing trouble recently & he had to have 10 puffs every 2 hours. My dd has to have a preventative inhaler with a spacer twice a day every day too but most children who use the blue ventolin inhaler only have to use it on a short-term basis. I hope your dd feels much better today.

Cupcake, will be lurking for news today.

ThePFJ · 05/06/2010 07:31

Morning all...

Still no Aunt Flo. Thinking of you Cupcake. I am so excited for you!
xxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 05/06/2010 07:59

PFJ what is happening with your body??? How many days late are you now?

VJay · 05/06/2010 08:03

Morning, lurking for cupcake news

pfj very for you.

curly and neeko I don't plan on having any more, but can't help feeling broody at the moment, I have noticed it recently, DH says it's because Ajay is growing up so fast, and lbm's pictures yesterday really set me off. When I think of having another I can look at it through rose tinted glasses and it's all great, but if I REALLY think of it I know it's not right for us, we live in a 2 bed house, waiting for the garage to be converted then Ajay can have a bedroom, plus I think I've got enough on my plate , and another thing I am so contented now with what I got so I'm sticking .

Wow I've really given it some thought haven't I

Waves to MLS

A week or so late.
I have updated my facebook stuff, so you girls are welcome to come find me. My facebook name is Lara Turner. Same profile picture as the last one on my photos here.
Thanks MLS and Vjay.. I am still a bit confused but I feel relaxed about it now.

MummyLovesSadie · 05/06/2010 08:15

ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH I think I have thrush on my tongue now .

ThePFJ · 05/06/2010 08:25

Poor you!!!!! I'll make you a nice cup of tea.... put your feet up for 5 minutes!

ThePFJ · 05/06/2010 08:27

Sabs - I like SATC! Is it worth seeing the new movie at all?

CurlyBigPants · 05/06/2010 08:40

Lol pfj you sound like my lovely mum. A cup of tea is the cure for all woes

MLS chug down some actimel or any bio products or get some acidopholous!!! You poor thing. Yes I did notice with bump. I used to get starving during growth spurts so can empathize with curlygirl

Sabs thanks for the minimilk. I'm going to search one out today!!! How is Saara? Have you decided on whether you are going to the wedding? I saw satc on wednesday too. loved the clothes and enjoyed it overall but really cringed at some scenes which (at best) were totally narrowminded and intolerant

vj I'd like one more I think. Curlygirl is so stubborn already. I think she needs to share her toys with a younger sibling I think I'll be broody no matter how many I have. I can't believe she is four months already...

CurlyBigPants · 05/06/2010 08:43

Neeko how old is h now? We've only just started a proper bedtime routine. We used to keep curlygirl downstairs with us. You are doing great!

CurlyBigPants · 05/06/2010 08:46

pfj how is the shoulder pain today?

CurlyBigPants · 05/06/2010 08:49

Aw man I'm talking to myself... I do this in real life too

ThePFJ · 05/06/2010 09:00

You aren't talking to yourself! Hehehe
Shoulder pain is still there but its a little better. I am going to do some aerobics (jumping up and down and looking like an idiot while playing some bad music) and maybe have a nice hot bath later to try and get my Auntie Flo to come round for tea....

ThePFJ · 05/06/2010 09:07

Curly - I am disappointed that SATC has such intolerance in it.. you'd think the world would have progressed. Will watch it anyways though, because like you I love the clothes and the story/comedy. Although through the years Carrie has wore some DIRE outfits as well as some really fantastic ones! I think I identify more with Miranda though. I love the way she is always so cynical of everything, and usually right!
