annie lovely to see you and have updates. So sorry E has a viral infection. Itook Ajay to the docs yesterday to check his ears after they perforated, the holes have healed but he had another infection, so I have to go back in 6-8 weeks for another check up....he'll be 1 then!!!!!

sabs thanks for those links, I can feel a desperate shopping spree coming on, he's chewing everything. I look forward to hearing about your muslim rituals too

vjay was too tired to try the dream fed last night, but will try tonight if im not sparko ...we had an 11.30 wake and 4.30am getting better. I just wish she would take the bottle without me having to do the oaky cokey (sp?)with my boobs....put the right boob in, the right boob out...do the oaky coaky and shake it all about... still im managing about 100ml per night, i wont let her beat me!

Lovely that Jack is being so sweet. I read your post about the red rug in a hurry and then had a panic that you had been bleeding out all over it. It was a relief when I re-read it and found out you were only hoovering it....

Also wanted to say to Louey, we all know how desperate the need is to be pregnant again by the time your due date arrives. After I had my first mc, I then got pregnant around the same time as Curly, GG, & Barbie, I then had my second mc & then got pregnant again around the same time as LBM, 4ever & Cupcake & then had my 3rd mc. It sucks seeing other people at the same stage that you should have been & you can't help dwelling on what might have been. This is why I'm always aware of not saying too much about what's going on with my pregnancy - because there are four of you that should be around the same stage as I am & I do understand how much that hurts. All I can say is that the lead up to a edd is much worse than the day itself, I think everyone on this thread would say that. We have all done our own little things to mark our edd's like planting a special flower, or letting go of a balloon with a message attached. Maybe planning something like that will help.

The one date I would say I definitely can't be is 5 th aug, cos the dr says he would only allow me to go 12 days over the due date, which would be 1st Aug... I was kind of hoping for tomorrow as it would be my grandfather's birthday.. But will see! Am going to do v energetic dog walk today.. Maybe this will help

iggy I'm getting SO excited for you. Feel quite emotional about it really as we were both on the Nov 09 thread and now will both have our babies. I can relate to the not believing there'll be a real baby! I used to just stare at the carseat thinking how weird it was there would soon be a tiny curled up baby in it.
And hey if you're induced 1st Aug it could still end up being 5th Aug birthday if 4ever's induction is anything to go by but seriously, I hope you don't go too far over cos it's torture!

4ever and your lovely girl. So amazing shes back on the boob now! How clever is she!! (And you!) Pain from my stitches almost completely gone now & can sit for a bit without a cushion achievement!! How are yours?
Yesterday me and my NCT friends had the 'who's had sex since baby?' conversation & one had just 3 weeks after her lo! (she had a totally non traumatic birth) Thankfully all the others hadn't and some of their babies are 12 weeks old so I of course came home & told dh that!... have to say I'm dreading it

(Obviously barbie has ) is it much harder than holidaying in the UK? Dh and I are wondering about going to visit rellies in South of France but worried it's too ambitious!

I'm amazed baby is still asleep...he usually demands attention as soon as I'm on MN
He is so lovely & content. Even though he's the youngest of our NCT group he's definitely the smiliest & has been charming them all ! We learnt some baby massage this week which was really lovely too.
The last 2 nights he has slept 8pm-3am and dropped his midnight feed so wondering if that will continue, which would be lovely!

I am so so pleased my body is almost back to normal. I had a massive eczema flare-up the last couple of weeks too with insanely itchy arms & legs- apparently hormone related but thankfully has cleared up with some extra strong cream from GP; now all that remains is nasty painful piles any thoughts on when those might ease??

Right, off to make another cuppa I think...love it when they sleep

louey that was a lovely long post I am in awe I remember filling in all the forms and stuff, and it's so hard, especially seeing it all in black and white, like mermaid said. Wine is quite good when going through all this I did have a fabulous social worker who helped me sort it all out.

We are taking our dog to the vets again tomorrow, he's really struggling and can barely move his back legs, so he is being examined to see if he should be put to sleep . I have given him a lovely warm bath today and he looks all fluffy now . I am so upset and have NO idea what to tell ds1. I hope he will be ok, but I hate to see him struggling so much
