Hi everyone

pfj sorry, sorry, sorry....i hope you are getting all the care and attention you deserve and that your dh is being good to you too (im sure he is!) we are here for hand holding and hair stroking when you need it. Thinking of you...

mermaid i saw your post on another thread and my heart broke for you here if you want to talk....take care

vjay loving the grand designs you have planned ...as for sleeping, here's the thing, she has seemed to have dropped a day nap so now doesnt sleep for much more than 2.5 hours a day. Not sure if this is the reason for her sleeping longer or the fact she is having a ff before bed??
Anyways dh is away now for 8 whole days (yikes) so i have all the time in the world to try a few combinations out. Im also going to go to bed about the same time as her 7.30 ish so i can get at least 5 hours straight a night...ill be a new woman
ps...your boys are just too cool, the pics are fab! What has baby got on his feet?????

Oh and i forgot to tell you all about the silliest blonde moment.
When i was making pear puree i had finished with the blending in the machine thingy and D was getting grumpy so i picked her up and tried to take the jg of with the other hand...pushing and pulling, pulling and pushing and it wouldn't budge. So i pressed the button, and yes you guessed it both baby and i were covered in puree!

Ps pear puree sets your hair rock solid....brilliant for halloween or other such occasions

I will try to catch up more later....just once again sending those who need it massive hugs xxx

Hi Everyone,

I have gone AWOL from hospital. I'll explain what happened.

Emergency doc and midwife both sent me straight to St. Mary's after bleeding ALOT this morning, having really bad back ache and being generally dizzy and all over the place. My blood pressure only dropped a wee bit though which is good. A student doctor talked to me about my history for an hour before I was allowed pain meds - paracetamol only. I was then given a pregnancy test, told I was very pregnant still and to not assume the worst anymore. Soon I was in the scan room with an ultra sound camera up my wossit and no little bean ANYWHERE. After many tears I realised I was starving hungry and as we went back to the ward I was told I could have lunch. Then I was told I could have lunch after the doc came and he would be there with me in just a moment. 2 HOURS later (after also finding out patientline doesnt do free radio anymore) I had enough of crying behind my curtain and waiting while drinks ladies and all sorts of nurses ignored me I decided to GO HOME. I stood up to test that I was no longer dizzy and felt fine apart from back ache. Since it takes them rather alot of attempts to get a line in me I thought might as well leave the damn thing in in case I go ectopic tonight. In which case I will call an amulance. I am fine I promise.....

Doc from hospital just called me as I was typing this and insisted I have the line taken out by a doctor now. So I have now removed it myself. He says I should go back in 48hours for another hormone test. I knew he would say that. So thats fine.

I hate it in hospital. I know it was naughty but I couldnt cope anymore.

barbie1 · 12/07/2010 16:46

Jeez pfj are you ok??? How horrid to be treated like that at hospital

Please keep us update, i hope you don't have to rush back in or anything. Don't really know what else to tell you or say really, except that im incredibly sorry that you are going through this x

VJay · 12/07/2010 16:53

pfj I really hope you are ok, are you in much pain now? Is dh with you?

barbie they are waterproof booties on his feet .
I like your idea of trying out different sleep routines while dh is away, that's the sort of thing I do, you can do it your way then, does that make sense?
Ajay only has about 2 to 3 hours sleep during the day, but does sleep through the night now (well most nights). I have had nights when I've gone to bed at the same time as Ajay and it makes SUCH a difference. Good luck xx

mermaid how are you doing today?

OP posts:
ThePFJ · 12/07/2010 17:35

Am still feeling better. No weird pain apart from my back being very very bad. Still bleeding on and off but nothing scary. DH is making me rest in bed and has just brought me a cup of tea. Thanks for your kind words girls. I really appreciate it. Will let you know if anything changes I promise. xxx

VJay · 12/07/2010 17:39

Oh pfj I am so glad you are not on your own with wee Jack, glad dh is there for you. Am logging off now but will check up on you tomorrow xxx

OP posts:
monkeybumsmum · 12/07/2010 19:50

Gosh PFJ I am sorry to hear what's happened. It sounds like you've had a awful time of it. Am thinking of you and hope you're being looked after x

4ever I read your post but haven't had a chance to reply before now. Oh sweetheart I'm so sorry you felt sad, and that nobody was responding to your posts. I know I'm rubbish at replying to posts, and when I do post I normally only manage to reply to the most recent ones, but reading about gorgeous S is so lovely, and it's a joy to hear about her. Maybe also, it's like Blue said, that your questions tend to get missed in the middle of a bunch of text? Not that I'm any help with anything at the moment my head's still not working properly!
Sending you lots of love x

VJay Love the birdhouse, well done ds1! And, oh my goodness, those baby seagulls are soooo cute! How are you doing?

Barbie Hope so much that the next few nights of trying things out helps a little, and that you manage to get some more sleep. You must be missing dh - has he gone to the UK? Your stories really do make me laugh, please consider writing a book - I would definately buy it!

Blue Can relate to the 'excitement' of Saturday nights - seems like a different world ago when we would actually, dare I say it... go out Mind you, I wouldn't swap it for anything!
Go Ben btw!!! Sleeping through, hooray! Have you managed to sleep all night yet? I used to wake up wondering why ds hadn't started crying yet, and what was wrong with him

Mermaid Been thinking about you lots over the last few days, I shall have to get my a*se into gear and email you. Huge hugs xxx

I'm afraid I haven't got time for any more personals, but as always am sending you all lots of love, and thinking of those that are going through tricky times.
My lovely dad is over at the moment, and we are sorting out our cellars, so lots of dustiness and painting going on. Neeko You would be proud of me, if only you could see the neat labelled boxes lined up on the new shelves I keep going down there just to soak in the 'organisationness' of it all!
AF due sometime this week/weekend but head is firmly in the sand.

Night all xxx

bluesatinsash · 12/07/2010 20:37

Hi all and so sorry PFJ, you were so happy its so cruel how it can turn on a knife. Really hope your DH is looking after you like a hawk and you're not in too much pain. Big cuddles for Jack is in order me thinks x

monkey - had to at you admiring your tidiness. I sometimes admire my ironing once its all done in its neat piles, such a sense of achievement but total saddo behaviour . So AF due soon .

barbie - anything between 2-4 hours nap is considered normal for babies so as long as S is rested and not grumpy or tired then she is getting enough during the day. REally hope her night sleep continues to be a bit more stretched. Good luck for DH free week and Happy Birthday to him .

Vjay - loving your photos, the boys just look so full of brotherly mischief. Isaac had Ben laughing like Sid James in the bath tonight, it was so infectious we were all laughing with him. Isaac also told me I was the "best mummy in the whole wide world" at stories tonight Remind me of this when he says he hates me and storms out the room slamming the door...

mermaid - hang in there lovely lady. Thinking of you x

monkeybumsmum · 12/07/2010 21:03

Yes Blue that's probably a good word to describe us - saddo's I am proud to be one!

Forgot to say before, thanks for all the thoughts about my dog (esp you Barbie ) She really wasn't well at all, and is now on antibiotics. She's a very allergic doggy and is even allergic to human hair and skin! I made the mistake of changing her food the day before (although to be fair to me I think she was already ill by then). We're not sure what it was, whether it was a bug or not, but she is now back to normal, and nipping at flies and wasps (which she is also allergic to ). Life is never dull with her around! (And I know the vet VERY well )

ThePFJ · 12/07/2010 22:02

Still ok. Bleeding again but no pain.

(for my friend ditzzy who is probably lurking here to check on me: so so sorry I am too tired to go emailing, please let rach know I am ok. Big hugs and thanks for looking after me. You are my favourite and best friend)

I like admiring my lovely red rug after I have hoovered it to death. It stays crumb/fluff/bit free for about 5 mins after, so admiration is called for while it looks perfect!

Need to go back to sleep now, I am seriously TIRED.

night night xxx

VJay · 13/07/2010 05:55

Morning, so much for Ajay sleeping through, I think more teeth are on the way, he's so tired and grumpy, just like his mum

monkey I am so glad your dog is a lot better, but suprised at how allergic he is, I've never heard of that before. Apart from being tired, I am good thanks. I too admire my handy-work, total saddo . to af

blue I love the way the big bros make their little bros laugh. Ajay idolises Cjay, he is Cjays shadow. Heartmelt at you being the best mummy in the whole wide world

pfj hope you are asleep right now, let us know how you're doing xx

OP posts:
CurlyBigPants · 13/07/2010 06:47

pfj hope you got some sleep last night lovely. You poor love, it's hard enough without that kind of treatment in the hospital. Lots of love and hugs xxx

morning all

ditzzy · 13/07/2010 07:33

((((hugs))) pfj don't worry, I've been updating rach on your posts since yesterday morning! Thanks for leaving the message for me on here. As long as you promise to phone one of us if there's a problem, then we'll forgive you for not emailing, and we'll assume you're ok if we don't hear anything (and we'll spy on you on here for a few more days)

Everyone's been asking whether you got back ok as well as admiring your strength for coming back here on saturday night (and for making the taxi driver work out where to go)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ThePFJ · 13/07/2010 08:57

I am still alive. Bleeding is starting to piss me off. Back is definately pissing me off. Feel highly emotional and am likely to eat men/doctors/small yappy type dogs alive right now. Not good really!

Everyone I am sorry I feel too porrly to keep up with your own dramas. Huge hugs and sincere offerings of chocolate cake to anyone else going through bad stuff.

Thanks ditzzy xxx

anniebigpants · 13/07/2010 14:23

Hi all, another flying visit im afraid, need eyes in my a**e at the min as E is into EVERYTHING!. Hes crawling at great speed now and nothing is safe from him, hes decided that he prefers the cats dinner to anything i lovingly prepare for him

Huge hugs to those who need them, mermaid jools and pfj especially at the minute-my heart goes out to you sweetie, so cruel to have your hopes dashed again.

VJay you have my sympathy re not much sleep due to teething, im in same boat as E is cutting his top front teeth now and has a viral infection as well, we only had one wakening last night at 12am so fingers crossed for some more unbroken nights.

Huge love to all XX

ThePFJ · 13/07/2010 21:10

Am still ok. Have decided not to go into hospital for my hormone check tommorrow though. I can't see how travelling all that way to get into chesterfield to have them say my hcg levels are decreasing is going to 'help' me. I think more rest and chocolate however will!!

DH is back to work tommorrow but there is no major housework tommorrow and I should be fine to look after my little Jack Jack.

annie - I know how you feel, I got back from oxford and Jack had grown an inch in 2 days and was able to climb over the baby gate!!! o.O

SabsFabulous · 13/07/2010 22:19

Evening ladies, just a quick post but wanted to post to barbie as you said you had people coming over from here and I thought maybe they could pick up the following for you to help with Devon's teething (or for anyone else on here). The first is homeopathic tablets from Holland and Barrett but I also think you can get them from Boots. My sister used them for her kids and they seem to work with Saara as well

The other thing which really worked with Saara when she started to teeth are the teethers from MAM In particular the bite and brush one, which they've revamped. They sell them in Boots, Sainsbury's etc. I'm sure I've mentioned them before

pfj sending lots of hugs to you. You have some amazing friends it seems who are checking up on you

annie sorry to hear E has a viral infection. Hope you get a good night's sleep.

vjay Hope the teething doesnt keep you up all night as well. Saara only has her bottom 2 so far. She too has been waking up in the night, but I think its more to do with the heat than anything else. We'll see

blue its lovely isn't it when they laugh. Even though Saara is a Daddy's girl, no-one can make her laugh like I do

monkey about AF (first time I've used that emoticon I think!)

Also wanted to say to Neeko that you asked about muslim rituals when a baby is born. Promise to share that very soon

Sorry to everyone else for lack of personals. Saggypanters, give your precious lo's a kiss from me, the medium panters give your bumps a rub from me, and sending all our smallpanters lots of un-MN hugs

Neeko · 13/07/2010 22:25

Hello. Fellow saddo returned from holiday here Had a great time, sadly couldn't fit H's bath box in car so left it behind. Washing and ironing all done and have spent AAAges reading what I've missed. (I missed you all actually, strange how you all pop into my thoughts while away. I even found myself mentioning my MN friend to my MIL )

DH needs the laptop now but wanted to send a huge hug to PFJ Choccie and the ever lovely Jools and Mermaid Wish there was something I could do to make it all better for you all.

I'll be back tomorrow.

Neeko · 13/07/2010 22:27

X-post Sabswithallthelovelyjokes Looking forward to hearing all those rituals. Give Saara a kiss from me.

CurlyBigPants · 14/07/2010 07:12

Just for you Barbie and Curly I have left a message with MW a few seconds ago to see if my doctors surgery can do a follow up blood test themselves. I am having all over crampy pain today, and I feel a little more like myself again. Just feels like a really heavy period now.

Thanks for your support girls, I really DO NOT know what I would have done if I couldn't spill my feelings on this thread. It's really helped. THANK YOU all for putting up with listening to me!!!!

xxx

barbie1 · 14/07/2010 09:14
